Resumo: Introduction: Cancer is classified as a set of cells that have a disordered growth and without specific functions, in which they affect the systems, being that the main population affected is the elderly, due to the associated risk factors, being highlighted the process of cell aging. Objective: to trace the clinical-epidemiological profile of the oncogeriatric patient seen in public hospitals of high complexity in the State of Pará, in the 2014-2018 historical series. Methodology: This is an epidemiological, descriptive retrospective study with a quantitative approach. The study was carried out in the month of June 2020 with information from secondary data, coming from the Hospital Cancer Registry Computerization System for oncogeriatric patients seen in high complexity hospitals in the state of Pará in the period from 2014 to 2018. Results: if the total of 8,184 oncogeriatrics patients seen in hospitals in Pará and the distribution of sociodemographic data found the predominance of the male population, in the age group between 60 and 69 years old, brown race, most have only incomplete fundamental level. Conclusion: It is necessary for professionals to carry out health education practices for this public, in order to raise awareness and encourage self-care, so that these rates are overcome and they can age with a better quality of life.

Objetivo: Rastrear el perfil clínico-epidemiológico del paciente oncogeriatrico visto en hospitales públicos de alta complejidad en el Estado de Pará, en la serie histórica 2014-2018. Metodología: Este es un estudio epidemiológico descriptivo retrospectivo con un enfoque cuantitativo. El estudio se realizó en el mes de junio de 2020 con información de datos secundarios, provenientes del Sistema de Informatización del Registro de Cáncer del Hospital para pacientes oncogeriatricos atendidos en hospitales de alta complejidad en el estado de Pará en el período de 2014 a 2018. Resultados: si el total de 8,184 pacientes oncogeriatricos atendidos en hospitales de Pará y la distribución de datos sociodemográficos encontraron el predominio de la población masculina, en el grupo de edad entre 60 y 69 años, raza marrón, la mayoría tiene un nivel fundamental incompleto. Conclusión: es necesario que los profesionales lleven a cabo prácticas de educación en salud para este público, a fin de crear conciencia y fomentar el autocuidado, para que se superen estas tasas y puedan envejecer con una mejor calidad de vida.Introdução: O câncer é classificado como um conjunto de células que possui um crescimento desordenados e sem funções específicas, na qual afetam os sistemas, sendo que a principal população acometida é a dos idosos, devido os fatores de riscos associados, sendo destacado o processo de envelhecimento das células. Objetivo: traçar o perfil clínico-epidemiológico do paciente oncogeriatra atendido nos hospitais públicos de alta complexidade no Estado do Pará, na série histórica 2014-2018. Metodologia: Trata-se de um estudo epidemiológico, descritivo retrospectivo e com abordagem quantitativa. O estudo foi realizado no mês junho de 2020 com informações de dados secundários, provenientes do Sistema de Informatização de Registro Hospitalar de Câncer referente a pacientes oncogeriatras atendido nos hospitais de alta complexidade no estado do Pará no período de 2014 a 2018.  Resultados: Observou-se o total de 8.184 pacientes oncogeriatras atendidos nos hospitais do Pará e a distribuição de dados sociodemográficos constatou a predominância da população masculina, na faixa etária entre 60 a 69 anos, raça parda, a maioria possuem apenas o nível fundamental incompleto.
