Resumo: | In the last year, all nations have been experiencing the advance of the viral pandemic caused by the new coronavirus. In this way, the researchers began an intense search for clear and correct information, in order to find a way to contain its advance. The present research project aims to synthesize the main points about SARS-CoV-2, its immunopathological mechanisms and host aggression, through data collection based on recent publications. Through the literature review, it was concluded that, after host infection, tissue damage in several organs can lead to acute injuries and sequelae after pathogen elimination. Finally, the relationship between the vaccine and the reduction of complications from the disease was seen. |

De esta manera, los investigadores iniciaron una intensa búsqueda de información clara y correcta, con el fin de encontrar la manera de contener su avance. El presente proyecto de investigación tiene como objetivo sintetizar los puntos principales sobre el SARS-CoV-2, sus mecanismos inmunopatológicos y la agresión del huésped, a través de la recopilación de datos basados en publicaciones recientes. A través de la revisión de la literatura, se concluyó que, después de la infección del huésped, el daño tisular en varios órganos puede provocar lesiones agudas y secuelas después de la eliminación del patógeno. Finalmente, se vio la relación entre la vacuna y la reducción de complicaciones de la enfermedad.No último ano, todas as nações vêm vivenciando o avanço da pandemia viral pelo novo coronavírus. Dessa forma, os pesquisadores iniciaram uma intensa busca por informações claras e corretas, a fim de encontrar uma maneira de conter o seu avanço. O presente projeto de pesquisa tem como objetivo sintetizar os principais pontos sobre o SARS-CoV-2, seus mecanismos imunopatológicos e de agressão ao hospedeiro, por meio de levantamento de dados com base em publicações recentes. Através da revisão da literatura, foi concluído que, após a infecção do hospedeiro, danos teciduais em diversos órgãos podem acarretar lesões agudas e sequelas após eliminação do patógeno.
