Resumo: | This essay analyzes the links that relate to recent political movements, experienced in various parts of the globe, with which populist politicians and movements entitled Right or Extreme Right have been identified, which have strengthened over the past 20 years, relating them with the consequences of modernity and the emergence of the movement called “engineering of chaos”. The defined problem is to investigate what are the links of these movements, highlighted in the work of Da Empoli (2019) - “Os Engenheiros do Caos”, with the consequences of modernity and the subject of the masses? And in the alternative, as a goal, to find a common thread with which the consequences of modernity can be correlated with the chaos engineering movement, the mass movements and the use of Fake News as a political artifact. The research has a descriptive nature based on secondary data. As a result, it appears that the advent of modernity, incorporated a subject of the masses (disengaged and liquid) as a category of analysis, established in a society interconnected in a network and with a new moment of participation of the subject, now welcomed by the masses. This feeling of welcome and participation began to be explored by what Da Empoli (2019) called “engineers of chaos”, becoming a powerful agent capable of spreading Fake News and awakening the furor of the masses, against the State and democratic institutions. |

And in the alternative, as a goal, to find a common thread with which the consequences of modernity can be correlated with the chaos engineering movement, the mass movements and the use of Fake News as a political artifact. Research, Society and Development2020-08-29info:eu-repo/semantics/articleinfo:eu-repo/semantics/publishedVersionapplication/pdfhttps://rsdjournal.org/index.php/rsd/article/view/763510.33448/rsd-v9i9.7635Research, Society and Development; Vol. 9 No. 9; e533997635Research, Society and Development; Vol. 9 Núm. 9; e533997635Research, Society and Development; v. 9 n. 9; e5339976352525-3409reponame:Research, Society and Developmentinstname:Universidade Federal de Itajubá (UNIFEI)instacron:UNIFEIporhttps://rsdjournal.org/index.php/rsd/article/view/7635/6721Copyright (c) 2020 Vaner José do Prado; José Gilea; Maria José Trindade de Azevedohttps://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/4.0info:eu-repo/semantics/openAccessPrado, Vaner José do Gilea, José Azevedo, Maria José Trindade de 2020-09-18T01:42:11Zoai:ojs.pkp.sfu.ca:article/7635Revistahttps://rsdjournal.org/index.php/rsd/indexPUBhttps://rsdjournal.org/index.php/rsd/oairsd.articles@gmail.com2525-34092525-3409opendoar:2024-01-17T09:30:18.017573Research, Society and Development - Universidade Federal de Itajubá (UNIFEI)false |
