Teaching practice on the topic of sexuality: a systematic review

Resumo: In the present study, a systematic review was conducted on the topic of sexuality in Brazilian schools, in order to describe the main characteristics of teaching practices in sexual education. The research resulted in seven scientific articles in Portuguese published from 2009 to 2019, obtained from the database of the Periódico Capes. As for the result, four thematic categories emerged for analysis: importance of work; difficulties, methodology adopted and broad themes. Regarding the importance of the sexuality theme, the results of the scientific articles clarify that it is important to work to resolve doubts according to their age groups and for the dissemination of correct information and in a healthy way for life. The difficulties pointed out are related to the lack of theoretical-conceptual preparation on the theme. Regarding the teaching methodology, the articles confirm the trend of lectures, lectures and films. Regarding the topics addressed in the classroom, the investigated articles demonstrate physical and behavioral changes, prevention against STD / AIDS, followed by pregnancy. The results show the presence of work with the theme of sexuality in Brazilian schools, however, there is a need for access to teacher professional development in sex education to provide security and autonomy to teaching work. Also the need for integration with the family and health professionals for the success of sex education in the school context.

La investigación dio como resultado siete artículos científicos en portugués publicados de 2009 a 2019, obtenidos de la base de datos de Periódico Capes. En cuanto al resultado, surgieron cuatro categorías temáticas para el análisis: importancia del trabajo; dificultades, metodología adoptada y temas generales. En cuanto a la importancia del tema de la sexualidad, los resultados de los artículos científicos aclaran que es importante trabajar para resolver dudas de acuerdo con sus grupos de edad y para la difusión de información correcta y de una manera saludable para la vida. Las dificultades señaladas están relacionadas con la falta de preparación teórico-conceptual sobre el tema. En cuanto a la metodología de enseñanza, los artículos confirman la tendencia de las conferencias, conferencias y películas. Con respecto a los temas abordados en el aula, los artículos investigados demuestran cambios físicos y de comportamiento, prevención contra enfermedades de transmisión sexual / SIDA, seguido de embarazo. Los resultados muestran la presencia de trabajo con el tema de la sexualidad en las escuelas brasileñas, sin embargo, existe la necesidad de acceder al desarrollo profesional de los docentes en educación sexual para proporcionar seguridad y autonomía al trabajo docente. También la necesidad de integración con la familia y los profesionales de la salud para el éxito de la educación sexual en el contexto escolar.Incluir o resumo em espanhol.No presente estudo, é realizada uma revisão sistemática sobre o tema sexualidade nas escolas brasileiras, com o objetivo de descrever as principais características das práticas docentes em educação sexual. Uma pesquisa resultou em sete artigos científicos em português publicados de 2009 a 2019, obtidos na base de dados do Periódico Capes. Quanto resulta do resultado quatro categorias temáticas para análise: importância do trabalho; dificuldades, metodologia adotada e temas abrangentes. Qual é a importância do tema sexualidade nos resultados dos artigos científicos esclarecidos que é importante para sanar, como dúvidas de acordo com suas faixas etárias e para que ocorra a disseminação de informações corretas e práticas úteis para a vida. Às vezes, as dificuldades apontadas são falta de preparação teórico-conceitual sobre a temática. a tendência de aulas expositivas, palestras e filmes. Com relação aos temas abordados na sala de aula, os artigos investigados demonstram alterações comportamentais e comportamentais, prevenção contra DST / AIDS, acompanhamento de gravidez. Os resultados evidenciam a presença do trabalho com o tema sexualidade nas escolas brasileiras, porém, há necessidade de acessar o desenvolvimento profissional docente em educação sexual para garantir a segurança e a autonomia para o trabalho docente. Também foi necessária a integração com a família e os profissionais de saúde para o sucesso da educação sexual no contexto escolar.
