Resumo: Objective: to analyze the factors associated with the multimorbidity of elderly market people. Method: This is an epidemiological, cross-sectional study based on data on sociodemographic aspects, lifestyle, health and work conditions reported by elderly workers in a municipal market. The inclusion criteria were elderly people aged 60 or over who carry out activities at the fair informally, that is, without registration in the work card and at a location specified by the market coordination. Results: 84 elderly people were found performing work activities in the municipal market, and of these workers, 40 reported having more than one morbidity (47.6%) framing the classification of multimorbidity. The highest prevalence of multimorbidity is among elderly women, aged 60 to 69 years, unmarried, education up to elementary school, black race / color, co-residents with other people, non-smokers, drink alcohol, do not perform physical activity, make use of medication, with a low or moderate capacity for work index, negative health perception, with low stress at work, working hours of up to 40 hours, sell fresh food and are satisfied with their work. Conclusion: the factors associated with multimorbidity found were medication use and work ability index.

Método: Se trata de un estudio epidemiológico, transversal, basado en datos sobre aspectos sociodemográficos, estilo de vida, salud y condiciones laborales reportados por trabajadores mayores en un mercado municipal. Los criterios de inclusión fueron personas mayores de 60 años o más que realicen actividades en la feria de manera informal, es decir, sin registro en la tarjeta de trabajo y en un lugar especificado por la coordinación de mercado. Resultados: se encontraron 84 personas mayores realizando actividades laborales en el mercado municipal, y de estos trabajadores, 40 reportaron tener más de una morbilidad (47,6%) enmarcando la clasificación de multimorbilidad. La prevalencia más alta de multimorbilidad se da entre mujeres ancianas, de 60 a 69 años, solteras, con educación hasta la escuela primaria, raza / color negro, co-residentes con otras personas, no fumadoras, beben alcohol, no realizan actividad física, hacen uso de medicamentos, con un índice de capacidad de trabajo bajo o moderado, percepción de salud negativa, con bajo estrés en el trabajo, jornada laboral de hasta 40 horas, venden alimentos frescos y están satisfechos con su trabajo. Conclusión: los factores asociados a la multimorbilidad encontrados fueron el uso de medicamentos y el índice de capacidad para el trabajo.Objetivo: analisar os fatores associados à multimorbidade dos idosos feirantes. Método: Trata-se um estudo epidemiológico, de corte transversal baseado em dados dos aspectos sociodemográficos, hábitos de vida, condições de saúde e laborais relatadas pelos trabalhadores idosos de um mercado municipal. Os critérios de inclusão foram idosos com idade igual ou superior a 60 anos que desenvolvem atividades na feira de maneira informal, ou seja, sem registro na carteira de trabalho e em local especificado pela coordenação do mercado. Resultados: Foram encontrados 84 idosos desenvolvendo atividades laborais feirantes no mercado municipal, e destes trabalhadores, 40 referiram possuir mais de uma morbidade (47,6%) enquadrando na classificação de multimorbidade. A maior prevalência de multimorbidade está entre os idosos do sexo feminino, na faixa etária de 60 a 69 anos, não casada, escolaridade até o ensino fundamental, raça/ cor negras, co-residentes com outras pessoas, não fumantes, ingerem bebida alcoólica, não realizam atividade física, fazem uso de medicação, com Índice de capacidade para o trabalho baixa ou moderada, percepção negativa de saúde, com baixo estresse laboral, jornada de trabalho até 40 horas, comercializam alimentos in natura e satisfeito com o trabalho.
