Diagnosis of the perspective and reality of graduating students from high school integrates to technical courses in agriculture of IFMG – Campus Bambuí

Resumo: The objective of this study was to diagnose, the perspectives and reality of students graduating from the integrated technical course in agriculture at the Federal Institute of Education, Science and Technology of Minas Gerais - Campus Bambuí. The research was carried out through the application of a questionnaire submitted by e-mail and whatsapp, with authorization from the department responsible for the academic record, in addition to prior communication with the students themselves, to ensure greater adherence by them. The period studied covered the years from 1991 to 2019. The data analysis was based on 278 responses and were expressed as a percentage, to facilitate the understanding of the information. Through the profiles found, measures can be taken to improve the teaching and learning methodologies of the course and, consequently, reduce school dropout through, for example, greater interdisciplinarity, as well as finding alternatives that better prepare the student for an increasingly competitive agriculture, with the suggestion of offering greater contact within the institution with the latest technologies applied in the area.

La investigación se llevó a cabo mediante la aplicación de un cuestionario enviado vía e-mail y whatsapp con autorización del departamento responsable del expediente académico, además de comunicación previa con los propios estudiantes para asegurar una mayor adherencia por parte de los mismos. El período estudiado abarca los años de 1991 a 2019. El análisis de los datos se basa en 278 encuestados y el resultado fue expreso en porcentaje para facilitar la comprensión de la información. A través de los perfiles encontrados se pueden tomar medidas para mejorar las metodologías de enseñanza y aprendizaje del curso y así lograr reducir la deserción escolar mediante, por ejemplo, una mayor interdisciplinariedad. Así como encontrar alternativas que preparen mejor el alumno para una agricultura cada vez más competitiva, con la sugerencia de ofrecer un mayor contacto dentro de la institución con las últimas tecnologías aplicadas en la zona.O objetivo deste estudo foi diagnosticar as perspectivas e a realidade dos alunos egressos do curso técnico integrado em agropecuária do Instituto Federal de Educação, Ciência e Tecnologia de Minas Gerais – Campus Bambuí. A pesquisa foi realizada através da aplicação de um questionário submetido via e-mail e WhatsApp, mediante autorização do departamento responsável pelo registro acadêmico, além de uma prévia comunicação com os próprios alunos, para garantir uma maior adesão por parte deles. O período estudado compreendeu os anos entre 1991 a 2019. A análise dos dados baseou-se em 278 respostas e foram expressas em porcentagem, a fim de facilitar a compreensão das informações.
