Resumo: | Journalistic information, appreciated by a large part of the population, has the duty to bring the news of events that have taken place in society, its primary function is to transmit information authentically. With constitutional guarantees, supported by freedom of opinion and thought, the free media is the full sign of a strong and cohesive democracy, however the power of maneuver of such means building a value judgment in society directly implies interfering in the Jury Court, whose jurors are members of society. In this way, the present study is consolidated in the analysis of press freedom in national legislation, focusing on how the media interferes with criminal information through its sensationalist coverage, carrying out a pre-trial of the accused and interfering in the decision of the Popular Jury. In this sense, forms were evoked that guarantee freedom of information and at the same time demonstrate means of curbing excesses and re-establishing the truth of the facts. In carrying out the research, the deductive approach method and scientific procedure methods were used, with the rules and norms followed by the rigor of science, history in the evaluation of the legal institutes that emerged, comparative in the explanation of the phenomena or constant facts, monographic studying the case in depth, in order to illustrate the role of the media interested in the hearing by the wide dissemination, often in a distorted way, of criminal information that moves the population. |

Con garantías constitucionales, sustentadas en la libertad de opinión y pensamiento, los medios de comunicación libres son el signo pleno de una democracia fuerte y cohesionada, sin embargo el poder de maniobra de tales medios para construir un juicio de valor en la sociedad implica directamente inmiscuirse en el Tribunal del Jurado, cuyos jurados son miembros de la sociedad. De esta forma, el presente estudio se consolida en el análisis de la libertad de prensa en la legislación nacional, centrándose en cómo los medios de comunicación interfieren en la información delictiva a través de su cobertura sensacionalista, realizando un antejuicio de los imputados e interfiriendo en la decisión del Tribunal Popular. Jurado. En ese sentido, se evocaron formas que garantizan la libertad de información y al mismo tiempo demuestran medios para frenar los excesos y restablecer la verdad de los hechos. En la realización de la investigación se utilizó el método de enfoque deductivo y los métodos del procedimiento científico, con las reglas y normas seguidas por el rigor de la ciencia, la historia en la evaluación de los institutos jurídicos surgidos, la comparativa en la explicación de los fenómenos o hechos constantes. , monográfico que estudia en profundidad el caso, con el fin de ilustrar el papel de los medios de comunicación interesados en la audiencia por la amplia difusión, muchas veces de forma tergiversada, de la información delictiva que conmueve a la población.A informação jornalística, apreciada por grande parte da população tem o dever de levar a notícia dos fatos ocorridos na sociedade, sua função primeira é de transmitir com autenticidade a informação. Com garantias constitucionais, amparada nas liberdades de opinião e pensamento a mídia livre é o pleno sinal de uma democracia forte e coesa, no entanto o poder de manobra de tais meios construindo um juízo de valor na sociedade implica diretamente interferindo no Tribunal do Júri, cujos jurados são membros da sociedade. Dessa forma, o presente estudo se consolida na análise da liberdade de imprensa na legislação pátria, enfocando como a mídia interfere nas informações de ordem criminal através de sua cobertura sensacionalista, realizando um pré-julgamento do acusado e interferindo na decisão do Júri Popular. Neste sentido evocaram-se formas que garantem a liberdade de informação e ao mesmo tempo demonstram meios de se coibir os excessos e se restabelecer a verdade dos fatos.
