Fake news about COVID-19 and its implications to person with diabetes mellitus

Resumo: Objective: To reflect the Fake News about COVID-19 and its implications to the person with Diabetes Mellitus. Method: This is a reflexive analysis carried out in discussions between teachers and students, during the meetings of the subject Topics of Philosophy of Science in Nursing and Health, in which the main principles of the philosophy and its relationship, contribution and importance in the practice of nursing were discussed. Results and discussion: It is recommended that people with diabetes seek information on official sites, because it is relevant for the population to be informed about all information related to COVID-19, in addition, the competent agencies should intensify the recommendations of social isolation and non-pharmacological measures. Conclusion: However, it is necessary to contribute to the non propagation of fake news by notifying them on the site of the Ministry of Health.

Método: Se trata de un análisis reflexivo realizado en discusiones entre profesores y estudiantes, durante reuniones del tema Temas de Filosofía de la Ciencia en Enfermería y Salud, en las que se discutieron los principios fundamentales de la filosofía y su relación, contribución e importancia en la práctica de la enfermería. Resultados y debate: Se recomienda que las personas con diabetes busquen información en los sitios oficiales, ya que es pertinente que la población esté informada sobre toda la información relacionada con el COVID-19; además, los órganos competentes deberían intensificar las recomendaciones de aislamiento social y medidas no farmacológicas. Conclusión: Sin embargo, es necesario contribuir a la no propagación de fake news notificándolas en el sitio web del Ministerio de Salud.  Objetivo: Refletir as Fake News sobre COVID-19 e suas implicações à pessoa com Diabetes Mellitus. Método: Trata-se de uma análise reflexiva realizada em discussões entre docentes e discentes, durante os encontros da disciplina Tópicos de Filosofia da Ciência em Enfermagem e Saúde, no qual, discutia-se os principais princípios da filosofia e sua relação, contribuição e importância na prática da Enfermagem. Resultados e discussão: Recomenda-se que as pessoas com diabetes busquem informações em sites oficiais, pois é relevante a população ser esclarecida sobre todas as informações relacionadas ao COVID-19, além disso, os órgãos competentes devem intensificar as recomendações de isolamento social e medidas não farmacológicas.
