Intention Activation Strategy to promote health and prevention against diseases in police officers

Resumo: Purpose: Reflecting about the Intention Activation Strategy for the practice of physical activity in police officers. Methods: sustained reflection in the light of scientific evidence which shows to the importance of the Attention Activation Strategy to encourage the practice of physical activity. Results: This paper studies the need of special care based on disease prevention. It is believed that the Attention Activation Strategy applied through the use of mobile telemessaging can be an effective strategy for health promotion, behavior improvement taking into consideration the level of physical activity and prevention of health problems in police officers. Final considerations: despite the lack of protocols for this public, the importance of this theoretical framework is perceived in order to motivate and guide the encouragement of physical activity as a strategy to prevent health problems in police officers.

Métodos: reflexión respaldada en la evidencia científica que señala a la importancia de la Estrategia de Activación de la Atención para motivar la práctica de actividad física. Resultados: se aborda la necesidad de un cuidado basado en la prevención de problemas de salud. Se considera que la Estrategia de Activación de la Atención aplicada a partir del uso de telemensaje móvil puede ser una estrategia eficaz para la promoción de la salud, mejoría de la conducta cuanto al nivel de actividad física y prevención a problemas de salud en policías. Consideraciones finales: Pese a la inexistencia de protocolos para ese público, se percibe la importancia de dicho referencial teórico para fomentar y orientar el incentivo de la práctica de la actividad física como estrategia de prevención a problemas de salud en policías.Objetivo: refletir sobre a Estratégia de Ativação da Intenção para a prática de atividade física em policiais. Métodos: reflexão sustentada à luz da evidência científica que aponta a importância da Estratégia de Ativação da Atenção para incentivo à prática de atividade física. Resultados: aborda-se a necessidade de cuidado pautado na prevenção de agravos. A Estratégia de Ativação da Atenção aplicada a partir do uso de telemensagem móvel pode ser estratégia eficaz para promoção da saúde, melhoria do comportamento quanto ao nível de atividade física e prevenção de agravos de saúde em policiais. Considerações finais: apesar da inexistência de protocolos a esse público, percebe-se a importância desse referencial teórico para fomentar e orientar o incentivo à prática de atividade física como estratégia de prevenção de agravos de saúde em policiais.
