Resumo: The rational and sustainable exploitation of groundwater is now becoming increasingly important for irrigation purposes. In semi-arid regions, irrigation handled improperly can cause salinization and sodification of soils and increased groundwater scarcity. The knowledge of the spatial behavior of the groundwater chemical quality parameters is essential for an accurate irrigation management. In this work, we sought to evaluate the spatial variability of the chemical attributes of groundwater used in irrigation in the Pernambuco semiarid region. Waters of the municipality of Granito-PE, used for agricultural purposes. were evaluated for chemical attributes: pH, Ca2+, Mg2+, K+, Na+, CE and RAS was calculated. The results were analyzed using descriptive statistics, Person correlation and geostatistics. The groundwater used for irrigation in the municipality of Granito for the mostly part it 95%   saline and 20% have sodium character. With the spatial variability maps, it was possible to identify the zones with greater and lesser salinization potential by using groundwater.

En las regiones semiáridas, el riego manejado incorrectamente puede causar salinización y sodificación del suelo y una mayor escasez de agua subterránea. El conocimiento del comportamiento espacial de los parámetros de calidad química de las aguas subterráneas es indispensable para una correcta gestión del riego. En este trabajo, buscamos evaluar la variabilidad espacial de los atributos químicos del agua subterránea utilizada en el riego en la región semiárida de Pernambuco. Las aguas del municipio de Granito-PE, utilizadas para fines agrícolas, fueron evaluadas en cuanto a atributos químicos: pH, Ca2 +, Mg2 +, K +, Na +, CE y RAS. Los resultados se analizaron mediante estadística descriptiva, correlación de personas y geoestadística. El agua subterránea que se utiliza para el riego en el municipio de Granito es en su mayoría 95% salina y 20% tiene carácter sódico. Con los mapas de variabilidad espacial se logró identificar las zonas con mayor y menor potencial de salinización por uso de agua subterránea.A exploração racional e sustentável das águas subterrâneas se torna atualmente cada vez mais importante, para fins de irrigação. Nas regiões semiáridas a irrigação manejada de forma não adequada pode causar salinização e sodificação do solo e aumento da escassez das águas subterrâneas. O conhecimento do comportamento espacial dos parâmetros de qualidade química das águas subterrâneas é indispensável para um manejo preciso da irrigação. Neste trabalho, buscou-se avaliar a variabilidade espacial dos atributos químicos das águas subterrâneas utilizadas na irrigação no semiárido pernambucano. Águas do município de Granito-PE, utilizadas para fins agrícola, foram avaliadas quanto aos atributos químicos: pH, Ca2+, Mg2+, K+, Na+, CE e RAS. Os resultados foram analisados por meio da estatística descritiva, correlação de Person e geoestatistica. A água subterrânea usada para a irrigação do município de Granito em sua maioria 95% salina e 20% apresenta caráter sódico.
