Biology teachers' perception of the use of techs in the teaching of the curricular components of the licentiate course in Biological Sciences of the Federal Institute of Maranhão - Campus Barreirinhas, Brazil

Resumo: | Information and Communication Technology (ICT) is the nomenclature used to refer to communication mediated by technological instruments that provide access and understanding of school and scientific knowledge of the present century. The general objective of this research aims to know the perception of biologist educators about the use of ICT in the teaching process of the curricular subjects of the Biological Sciences Degree course, offered by the Campus of the Federal Institute of Maranhão (IFMA) Municipality of Barreirinhas - MA. As for the methodological procedures, the strategy consisted of an analytical and hermeneutic reading of articles that dealt with the theme in focus; application of questionnaires with the seven Biology professors of the IFMA - Campus Barreirinhas and tabulation of information from this study. With the research it was found that educators who teach the curricular components of the Biological Sciences Degree Course at Campus Barreirinhas, have a notion of what ICTs are, to the point of using and recommending the use of these to other teachers of Brazilian educational institutions . Thus, it is understood that there is a need for research on the subject in question, considering that it can contribute to the dissemination of ideas and practices that strengthen the performance of education professionals, in addition to corroborating the prospect of improving student participation. , in overcoming practices considered “boring and boring” and favoring didactic aspects and the application of active strategies. |

El objetivo general de esta investigación es conocer la percepción de los educadores biólogos sobre el uso de las TIC en el proceso de enseñanza de las materias curriculares del curso de Licenciatura en Ciencias Biológicas, ofrecido por el Campus del Instituto Federal de Maranhão en el municipio de Barreirinhas - MA. En cuanto a los procedimientos metodológicos, la estrategia consistió en una lectura analítica y hermenéutica de artículos que trataban el tema en cuestión; aplicación de cuestionarios con los siete profesores de biología en IFMA - Campus Barreirinhas y tabulación de información de este estudio. Con la investigación se descubrió que los educadores que enseñan los componentes curriculares del Curso de Ciencias Biológicas en el Campus Barreirinhas, son conscientes de lo que son las TIC, hasta el punto de utilizarlas y recomendar su uso a otros docentes de instituciones educativas brasileñas. . Por lo tanto, se entiende que existe una necesidad de investigación sobre el tema en cuestión, ya que puede contribuir a la difusión de ideas y prácticas que fortalezcan el desempeño de los profesionales de la educación, además de corroborar la posibilidad de mejorar la participación de los estudiantes. en la superación de prácticas consideradas "aburridas y aburridas" y favoreciendo aspectos didácticos y la aplicación de estrategias activas. A Tecnologia de Informação e Comunicação (TIC) é a nomenclatura usada para se referir à comunicação mediada por instrumentos tecnológicos que oportunizam o acesso e a compreensão dos conhecimentos escolares e científicos do presente século. O objetivo geral desta pesquisa visa conhecer a percepção dos educadores biólogos sobre o uso das TIC no processo de ensino das matérias curriculares do curso de Licenciatura em Ciências Biológicas, ofertado pelo Campus do Instituto Federal do Maranhão (IFMA) Município de Barreirinhas - MA. Quanto aos procedimentos metodológicos, a estratégia consistiu em um trabalho de leitura analítica e hermenêutica de artigos que tratassem sobre a temática em foco; aplicação de questionários com os sete professores de Biologia do IFMA – Campus Barreirinhas e tabulação das informações oriundas deste estudo. Com a pesquisa constatou-se que os educadores que lecionam os componentes curriculares do Curso de Licenciatura em Ciências Biológicas do Campus Barreirinhas, têm noção do que sejam as TIC, a ponto de usarem e recomendarem o uso destes para outros docentes de instituições de ensino brasileiras.
