Resumo: | This study is an experience report that aims to describe a nursing academics experience in participating in an extension project aimed at adolescents' health. The extension project entitled "Adolescer Bem” offered during the discipline of child and adolescent health at José do Rosário Vellano University, Alfenas-MG, worked together with the Health in School Project, in a public school. In view of the vulnerabilities in which adolescents remained exposed, such as lack of knowledge about the physical and psychological changes of adolescence; Concern exacerbated with body image; Fear of the future; Bullying among peers; Difficulty in family relationships; Limited educational training regarding the deleterious effects of the use of alcohol and other drugs, as well as with regard to sexually transmitted diseases, teenage pregnancy and the use of contraceptive methods, educational activities were carried out in order to promote knowledge autonomy in these adolescents. The educational and innovative activities in the school issue enabled interaction between nursing academics and adolescents. It was concluded that the Adolescer Bem project subsidized reflective training in the work of the authors involved, as well as preventive education among adolescents. |

El proyecto de extensión titulado "Adolescer Bien" ofrecido durante la disciplina de salud del niño y del adolescente en la Universidad José del Rosario Vellano, Alfenas-MG, actuó en conjunto con el Proyecto Salud en la Escuela, en una escuela pública. Frente a las vulnerabilidades en las que los adolescentes permanecían expuestos, tales como falta de conocimiento en cuanto a las transformaciones físicas y psicológicas de la adolescencia; la preocupación exacerbada con la imagen corporal; miedo al futuro; bullying entre los pares; dificultad en la relación familiar; la formación educativa limitada en cuanto a los efectos deletéreos del uso de alcohol y otras drogas, así como respecto a las enfermedades sexualmente transmisibles, embarazo en la adolescencia y el uso de métodos anticonceptivos, se realizaron actividades educativas con el fin de promover autonomía de conocimiento en estos adolescentes. Las actividades educativas e innovadoras en la escuela en cuestión posibilitaron la interacción entre los académicos de enfermería y los adolescentes. Se concluye que el proyecto Adolescer Bem subsidió una formación reflexiva en la actuación de los autores involucrados, así como la educación preventiva junto a los adolescentes.Este estudo trata-se de um relato de experiência que objetiva descrever a experiência de acadêmicos de enfermagem na participação em um projeto de extensão voltado para saúde dos adolescentes. O projeto de extensão intitulado “Adolescer Bem” oferecido durante a disciplina de saúde da criança e do adolescente na Universidade José do Rosário Vellano, Alfenas-MG, atuou em conjunto com o Projeto Saúde na Escola, em uma escola pública. Frente às vulnerabilidades nas quais os adolescentes permaneciam expostos, tais como falta de conhecimento quanto às transformações físicas e psicológicas da adolescência; preocupação exacerbada com a imagem corporal; medo em relação ao futuro; bullying entre os pares; dificuldade no relacionamento familiar; formação educacional limitada quanto aos efeitos deletérios do uso de álcool e outras drogas, bem como a respeito das doenças sexualmente transmissíveis, gravidez na adolescência e o uso de métodos contraceptivos, foram realizadas atividades educativas no intuito de promover autonomia de conhecimento nesses adolescentes. As atividades educativas e inovadoras na escola em questão possibilitaram a interação entre os acadêmicos de enfermagem e os adolescentes.
