Efficiency of Organo-Mineral Fertilizer Enriched with Citric Acid in Corn (Zea Mays L.) grown in the Greenhouse

Resumo: This research aimed to evaluate the effect of organomineral fertilizer enriched with citric acid, on accumulation of dry matter content and phosphorus (P) in maize plants grown in greenhouse. A randomized block design with 6x3 factorial was used, combining six P sources (triple superphosphate, natural reactive phosphate of Bayóvar, superphosphate + poultry litter, Bayóvar phosphate + poultry litter, superphosphate + poultry litter + citric acid, Bayóvar phosphate + poultry litter + citric acid), three applied P levels (40, 80 and 120 kg ha-1 of P2O5), with four repetitions. The organomineral fertilizers produced with superphosphate provided higher accumulation of dry matter and P in shoots of maize plants than the organomineral fertilizers with Bayóvar phosphate. Plants that received the organomineral fertilizers with superphosphate presented higher accumulation of biomass and P in shoots than plants that received solely superphosphate, without effect of citric acid. The citric acid added to the organomineral fertilizer produced with natural reactive Bayóvar phosphate increased the accumulation of P in roots. The incorporation of organic matter to triple superphosphate increases maize growth and that the addition of citric acid to the organomineral fertilizers produced with natural phosphate increases the root growth.

Se utilizó un diseño de bloques al azar con factorial 6x3+1, que combinaba seis fuentes de P (superfosfato triple, fosfato natural reactivo de Bayóvar, superfosfato + camada para aves, fosfato de Bayóvar + camada para aves, superfosfato + camada para aves + ácido cítrico, fosfato de Bayóvar + camada para aves + ácido cítrico), tres dosis de P aplicado (40, 80 y 120 kg ha-1 de P2O5) con cuatro repeticiones. Los fertilizantes organominerales producidos con superfosfato triple proporcionaram una mayor acumulación de materia seca y P en la parte aérea del maíz, que los fertilizantes organominerales con fosfato de Bayóvar. Las plantas que recibieron fertilizantes organominerales con superfosfato tuvieran una mayor acumulación de biomasa y P en la parte aérea que las plantas que recibieron solo superfosfato, sin ningún efecto del ácido cítrico. El ácido cítrico agregado al fertilizante organomineral producido con fosfato de Bayóvar aumentó la acumulación de P en la raíz. Se concluye que la incorporación de materia orgánica al fosfato soluble aumenta el crecimiento del maíz y que la adición de ácido cítrico a los fertilizantes producidos con fosfato natural aumenta la materia seca de la raíz.Este trabalho teve como objetivo avaliar o efeito do fertilizante organomineral enriquecido com ácido cítrico na acumulação de matéria seca e fósforo (P) em plantas de milho cultivadas em casa de vegetação. Utilizou-se o delineamento em blocos ao acaso, com fatorial 6x3, combinando seis fontes de P (superfosfato triplo, fosfato natural reativo de Bayóvar, superfosfato + cama de aviário, fosfato Bayóvar + cama de aviário, superfosfato + cama de aviário + ácido cítrico, fosfato Bayóvar + cama de aviário + ácido cítrico), três doses de P aplicado (40, 80 e 120 kg ha-1 de P2O5), com quatro repetições. Os fertilizantes organominerais produzidos com superfosfato triplo propiciaram maior acumulação de matéria seca e P na parte aérea de milho, do que os fertilizantes organominerais com fosfato Bayóvar. As plantas que receberam os fertilizantes organominerais com superfosfato apresentaram maior acumulação de biomassa e P na parte aérea que as plantas que receberam apenas superfosfato, sem efeito do ácido cítrico. O ácido cítrico adicionado ao fertilizante organomineral produzido com fosfato de Bayóvar aumentou a acumulação de P na raiz.
