The importance of the use of scientific experiments for Science education in Fundamental Education: A case study

Resumo: | The objectives of this study were to analyze whether teachers are working with practical classes using scientific experiments in science teaching, to list the reasons why science classes in elementary school have few experiments and to propose improvements for a better effectiveness of classes, taking into account view the benefits of practical classes in teaching learning. To achieve the objectives, a quantitative methodology was used through a questionnaire for data collection at a school in the Municipality of Grajaú-MA, 148 students from the 8th and 9th grade answered the questionnaire. The results obtained are displayed in the form of graphs, in which it was possible to notice that students like classes with experiments, however the school has no structure so that students can practice this type of class more often. It is concluded that the practical classes with scientific experiments have been applied even if little and that this index of classes can increase a lot, being necessary measures for this to circumvent or alleviate the problem of not having adequate structure and equipment in the school for classes with experiments . One way to improve the current situation is the partnership between the school that was the object of study and higher institutions that can help with equipment or technical visits. |

One way to improve the current situation is the partnership between the school that was the object of study and higher institutions that can help with equipment or technical visits.Los objetivos de este estudio fueron analizar si los maestros están trabajando con clases prácticas utilizando experimentos científicos en la enseñanza de las ciencias, enumerar las razones por las cuales las clases de ciencias en la escuela primaria tienen pocos experimentos y proponer mejoras para una mejor efectividad de las clases, teniendo en cuenta Vea los beneficios de las clases prácticas en la enseñanza del aprendizaje. Para lograr los objetivos, se utilizó una metodología cuantitativa a través de un cuestionario para recolectar datos en una escuela en el Municipio de Grajaú-MA, 148 estudiantes de los grados 8 y 9 respondieron el cuestionario. Los resultados obtenidos se muestran en forma de gráficos, en los que fue posible notar que a los estudiantes les gustan las clases con experimentos, sin embargo, la escuela no tiene una estructura para que los estudiantes puedan practicar este tipo de clase con más frecuencia. Se concluye que las clases prácticas con experimentos científicos se han aplicado aunque sea poco y que este índice de clases puede aumentar mucho, siendo medidas necesarias para evitar o aliviar el problema de no tener una estructura y equipo adecuados en la escuela para las clases con experimentos. Una forma de mejorar la situación actual es la asociación entre la escuela que fue objeto de estudio y las instituciones superiores que pueden ayudar con el equipo o las visitas técnicas.Os objetivos do presente estudo foram analisar se os professores estão trabalhando com aulas práticas utilizando experimentos científicos no ensino de Ciências, elencar os motivos pelas quais as aulas de Ciências no Ensino Fundamental possuem poucos experimentos e propor melhorias para uma melhor eficácia das aulas, tendo em vista os benefícios das aulas práticas no ensino aprendizagem. Para alcançar os objetivos foi utilizado uma metodologia quantitativa através de um questionário para a coleta dos dados em uma escola do Município de Grajaú-MA, 148 alunos de 8º e 9º ano responderam ao questionário. Os resultados obtidos são exibidos em forma de gráficos, no qual foi possível notar que os alunos gostam de aulas com experimentos, entretanto a escola não possui estrutura para que os alunos possam praticar esta modalidade de aula com mais frequência. Conclui-se que as aulas práticas com experimentos científicos vêm sendo aplicadas mesmo que pouco e que este índice de aulas pode aumentar muito, sendo necessário para isso medidas para contornar ou amenizar a problemática de não haver estrutura e equipamentos adequados na escola para aulas com experimentos.
