Resumo: | Carrying out this study is justified by its academic, scientific and social relevance, based on presenting technological advances involving artificial intelligence in healthcare. Therefore, the objective of this research focuses on highlighting the applications and benefits of Artificial Intelligence in Medicine. This study was carried out through an integrative literature review, with an exploratory approach, whose institute was limited to investigating, through already published articles, relevant information that answered the guiding question. Thus, data collection took place in scientific bases: SCIELO and LILACS. One of the main advantages of using AI in early diagnosis is the ability to process large volumes of data quickly and accurately, identifying patterns and signals that may be imperceptible to human healthcare professionals. This makes it possible to detect serious medical conditions early, such as cancer and heart disease, when treatment is most effective and the chances of recovery are greatest. Furthermore, AI can significantly contribute to personalized treatment, adapting therapeutic approaches based on the individual characteristics of each patient. By analyzing genetic data, medical history, and response to previous treatments, AI algorithms can help doctors develop treatment plans that are more effective and have fewer side effects. |

Por ello, el objetivo de esta investigación se centra en resaltar las aplicaciones y beneficios de la Inteligencia Artificial en Medicina. Este estudio se realizó a través de una revisión integradora de la literatura, con enfoque exploratorio, cuyo instituto se limitó a investigar, a través de artículos ya publicados, informaciones relevantes que respondieran a la pregunta orientadora. Así, la recolección de datos se realizó en las bases científicas: SCIELO y LILACS. Una de las principales ventajas del uso de la IA en el diagnóstico precoz es la capacidad de procesar grandes volúmenes de datos de forma rápida y precisa, identificando patrones y señales que pueden resultar imperceptibles para los profesionales de la salud humana. Esto hace posible detectar tempranamente afecciones médicas graves, como el cáncer y las enfermedades cardíacas, cuando el tratamiento es más eficaz y las posibilidades de recuperación son mayores. Además, la IA puede contribuir significativamente al tratamiento personalizado, adaptando los enfoques terapéuticos en función de las características individuales de cada paciente. Al analizar datos genéticos, historial médico y respuesta a tratamientos anteriores, los algoritmos de IA pueden ayudar a los médicos a desarrollar planes de tratamiento que sean más eficaces y tengan menos efectos secundarios.A realização deste estudo, justifica-se pela sua relevância acadêmica, científica e social, pautada em apresentar os avanços tecnológicos que envolvem a inteligência artificial na saúde. Dessa forma, o objetivo desta pesquisa incide em evidenciar as aplicações e benefícios da Inteligência Artificial na Medicina. Este estudo foi realizado por meio de uma revisão integrativa da literatura, de abordagem exploratória, cujo instituto, se resumiu em investigar, através de artigos já publicados, informações relevantes que respondessem à pergunta norteadora. Assim, o levantamento de dados ocorreu nas bases científicas: SCIELO e LILACS. Uma das principais vantagens da utilização da IA no diagnóstico precoce é a capacidade de processar grandes volumes de dados de forma rápida e precisa, identificando padrões e sinais que podem ser imperceptíveis para os profissionais de saúde humanos. Isso possibilita a detecção precoce de condições médicas graves, como câncer e doenças cardíacas, quando o tratamento é mais eficaz e as chances de recuperação são maiores. Além disso, a IA pode contribuir significativamente para o tratamento personalizado, adaptando as abordagens terapêuticas com base nas características individuais de cada paciente.
