Resumo: This work aims to identify and analyze risk factors, complications and profile of individuals in the event of abandonment of tuberculosis treatment. This is an integrative review of the literature of studies between 2015 and 2020. To survey the studies, a source made available by consulting the database of the Virtual Health Library with the descriptors “Tuberculosis”, “Risk Factor” and “ Treatment Adherence ”. Authors corroborate that risk factors such as consumption of licit and illicit drugs, clinical improvement during treatment, adverse effects of medications and discontinuity of care influence the lack of adherence to treatment, as well as the profile of men, young adults and low education levels. the most cited in studies. There was a need for health services to seek new strategies for their developed practices, humanizing their assistance and strengthening the bond with the user.

Esta es una revisión integradora de la literatura de estudios entre 2015 y 2020. Para encuestar los estudios, una fuente disponible consultando la base de datos de la Biblioteca Virtual en Salud con los descriptores "Tuberculosis", "Factor de riesgo" y " Adherencia al tratamiento ". Los autores corroboran que los factores de riesgo como el consumo de drogas lícitas e ilícitas, la mejoría clínica durante el tratamiento, los efectos adversos de los medicamentos y la discontinuidad de la atención influyen en la falta de adherencia al tratamiento, así como en el perfil de los hombres, los adultos jóvenes y los bajos niveles de educación. Trata-se de uma revisão integrativa da literatura de estudos entre 2015 a 2020. Para o levantamento dos estudos foi utilizada fonte disponibilizada pela consulta à base de dados da Biblioteca Virtual em Saúde com os descritores “Tuberculose”, “Fator de Risco” e “Adesão ao Tratamento”. Autores corroboram que fatores de risco como   consumo de drogas licitas e ilícitas, melhora clínica durante o tratamento, efeitos adversos dos medicamentos e descontinuidade do cuidado influenciam na falta de adesão ao tratamento, bem como o perfil de homens, adultos-jovens e baixa escolaridade serem os mais citados nos estudos.
