Resumo: The present study aims to analyze scientific evidence about the relevance of the practice of telehealth in the care of individuals in a chronic situation in the time of a pandemic caused by COVID-19. This is an integrative review of the literature that focuses on the realization of a synthesis of articles and the combination of them on the researched topic; for the bibliographic survey, the flowchart guided by (PRISMA) was used, which resulted in a total of 7 articles for analysis and discussion. To carry out this search, the Descriptors in Health Sciences (DeCS) and Medical Subjectc Headings (MeSH) and Keywords: Non-Communicable Diseases, Telemedicine and COVID-19, and their respective English correspondents grouped by the Boolean operator “AND” were used. and “OR”, for the keywords. Thus, when analyzing the articles obtained from the present research, it was possible to identify studies that address the impacts on care for patients with NCDs in times of social isolation and their reordering in care with the use of telehealth as a tool for this specific population. It is necessary to develop educational programs that provide users with greater knowledge about the use of these technologies, aiming at the adhesion and expansion of this system in order to facilitate its effectiveness in the care of individuals in a situation of chronicity.

Research, Society and Development2022-07-28info:eu-repo/semantics/articleinfo:eu-repo/semantics/publishedVersionapplication/pdfhttps://rsdjournal.org/index.php/rsd/article/view/3264610.33448/rsd-v11i10.32646Research, Society and Development; Vol. 11 No. 10; e238111032646Research, Society and Development; Vol. 11 Núm. 10; e238111032646Research, Society and Development; v. 11 n. 10; e2381110326462525-3409reponame:Research, Society and Developmentinstname:Universidade Federal de Itajubá (UNIFEI)instacron:UNIFEIporhttps://rsdjournal.org/index.php/rsd/article/view/32646/27726Copyright (c) 2022 Jéssica Rodrigues Lopes; Lina Márcia Miguéis Berardinelli ; Nadja Maria Queiroz de Albuquerque; Brunno Lessa Saldanha Xavier; Michelle Darezzo Rodrigues Nunes; Maria Eunice Amaral Dantas; Helena da Costa Matos Marotti Sales https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/4.0info:eu-repo/semantics/openAccessLopes, Jéssica RodriguesBerardinelli , Lina Márcia MiguéisAlbuquerque, Nadja Maria Queiroz de Xavier, Brunno Lessa SaldanhaNunes, Michelle Darezzo Rodrigues Dantas, Maria Eunice AmaralSales , Helena da Costa Matos Marotti2022-08-12T22:23:03Zoai:ojs.pkp.sfu.ca:article/32646Revistahttps://rsdjournal.org/index.php/rsd/indexPUBhttps://rsdjournal.org/index.php/rsd/oairsd.articles@gmail.com2525-34092525-3409opendoar:2024-01-17T09:48:34.619435Research, Society and Development - Universidade Federal de Itajubá (UNIFEI)false
