Resumo: The COVID-19 pandemic has significantly interfered with the educational structure worldwide. Several educational institutions needed to change pedagogical practices in order to meet social distancing standards. In this sense, information and communication technologies were presented as a tool capable of guaranteeing that the teaching and learning process could happen through remote teaching, however, the lack of adequate tools to access networks or limited access to it became a problem. for basic education students. The problem gains greater proportions in quilombola communities, such as the one that occurred in the Municipal School of Basic Education (EMEB) Monte Alegre, located in the district of Pacotuba, belonging to the Municipality of Cachoeiro de Itapemirim - ES. Even with the availability of printed materials to students, teachers were concerned about the increase in the rate of school lag among their students. In this way, this article aims to alert about the possible impacts caused by the insertion of remote teaching during the COVID-19 pandemic in schoolchildren belonging to early childhood education in the quilombola community of Monte Alegre, in the Municipality of Cachoeiro de Itapemirim - ES.

Incluso con la disponibilidad de materiales impresos para los estudiantes, los maestros estaban preocupados por el aumento en la tasa de rezago escolar entre sus estudiantes. De esta forma, este artículo tiene como objetivo alertar sobre los posibles impactos causados ​​por la inserción de la enseñanza a distancia durante la pandemia de COVID-19 en escolares pertenecientes a la educación inicial de la comunidad quilombola de Monte Alegre, en el Municipio de Cachoeiro de Itapemirim - ES.A pandemia de COVID-19 interferiu significativamente na estrutura educacional em esfera mundial.  Diversas instituições de ensino precisaram alterar as práticas pedagógicas a fim de atender as normas de distanciamento social. Neste sentido as tecnologias da informação e comunicação foram apresentadas como ferramenta capaz de garantir que o processo de ensino e aprendizagem pudesse acontecer através do ensino remoto, porém, a falta de ferramentas adequadas para acessar as redes ou o acesso limitado à esta tornaram-se um problema para os estudantes da educação básica. O problema ganha maiores proporções em comunidades quilombolas, como a ocorrida na Escola Municipal de Educação Básica (EMEB) Monte Alegre, localizada no distrito de Pacotuba pertencente ao Município de Cachoeiro de Itapemirim - ES. Mesmo com a disponibilização de materiais impressos aos estudantes, professores mostraram-se preocupados com o aumento da taxa de defasagem escolar entre seus alunos.
