Board game in the study of exoplanets

Resumo: | Guided by conceptual aspects of Vygotsky's Learning Theory, we built a table top type didactic game to analyze the teaching and learning process concerning the study of exoplanets. This educational product was made in a way that could make the teaching of Physics more attractive, dynamic and interactive, we sought to promote an innovative learning process about Exoplanets. We carried out the research by applying the game, as an educational product, in a sample of 66 students from the school. Profª. Salomé Carvalho (9th grade students - Elementary School), belonging to the municipal public network of Marabá-PA. In general terms, we highlight the work developed with previous knowledge presented by students about planets, as well as discussion and presentation in a playful, dynamic and interactive way of new knowledge about extrasolar planets, their characteristics and detection methods. We also emphasize that the didactic game developed and applied presented potential applicability in other educational contexts, approaching different themes in other areas of knowledge. |

Este producto educativo se realizó de manera que pudiera hacer más atractiva, dinámica e interactiva la enseñanza de la Física, se buscó promover un proceso de aprendizaje innovador sobre los Exoplanetas. La investigación la llevamos a cabo aplicando el juego, como producto educativo, en una muestra de 66 alumnos del colegio Profª. Salomé Carvalho (estudiantes de 9º grado - Escuela Primaria), perteneciente a la red pública municipal de Marabá-PA. En líneas generales, destacamos el trabajo desarrollado con los conocimientos previos presentados por los alumnos sobre planetas, así como la discusión y presentación de forma lúdica, dinámica e interactiva de nuevos conocimientos sobre planetas extrasolares, sus características y métodos de detección. Destacamos también que el juego didáctico desarrollado y aplicado presentó potencial aplicabilidad en otros contextos educativos, abordando diferentes temáticas en otras áreas del conocimiento.Guiados por aspectos conceituais da Teoria da Aprendizagem de Vygotsky, construímos um jogo didático do tipo tabuleiro de mesa para analisar o processo de ensino e aprendizagem concernente ao estudo de exoplanetas. Este produto educacional foi confeccionado de maneira que pudesse tornar o ensino de Física mais atrativo, dinâmico e interativo, buscou-se promover um processo de aprendizado inovador sobre Exoplanetas. Realizamos a pesquisa aplicando o jogo, enquanto produto educativo, em uma amostra de 66 educandos da escola Profª. Salomé Carvalho (alunos do 9º ano - Ensino Fundamental), pertencentes a rede pública municipal de Marabá-PA. Em linhas gerais, destacamos o trabalho desenvolvido com conhecimentos prévios apresentados pelos estudantes sobre planetas, bem como discussão e apresentação de forma lúdica, dinâmica e interativa de novos conhecimentos sobre planetas extrassolares, suas características e métodos de detecção.
