The use of mathematical modeling with GeoGebra in teaching trigonometric functions: a literature review

Resumo: | The The teaching of Mathematics is often seen as a challenge for the teaching professional, in relation to the use of more appropriate didactics or methodologies for greater learning. Therefore, mathematical modeling arose from the need to understand a problem and to be able to model it from its variable data or not. Thus, in view of the greater access to technologies today, the GeoGebra software can help both the teacher and the student in solving problems. Therefore, this research aims at an integrative bibliographic review of an exploratory nature, which aims to detail the influences of the use of Mathematical Modeling with GeoGebra in the teaching of trigonometric functions in Basic Education. Therefore, the review was divided into two key terms: “Mathematical Modeling with GeoGebra”, “GeoGebra in teaching trigonometric functions”. Therefore, it is possible to perceive that the use of ICTs in the classroom is of undoubted relevance. Therefore, it can be seen that Mathematical Modeling is indeed a methodology that favors learning. It means, therefore, that from it the student can perceive how mathematics is applied in their daily lives. Accordingly, the use of GeoGebra software supports teaching and learning, as it greatly facilitates graphic and geometric representations. |

Por lo tanto, la modelación matemática surgió de la necesidad de entender un problema y poder modelarlo a partir de sus datos variables o no. Así, ante el mayor acceso a las tecnologías en la actualidad, el software GeoGebra puede ayudar tanto al docente como al alumno en la resolución de problemas. Por lo tanto, esta investigación tiene como objetivo una revisión bibliográfica integradora de carácter exploratorio, que tiene como objetivo detallar las influencias del uso de la Modelación Matemática con GeoGebra en la enseñanza de las funciones trigonométricas en la Educación Básica. Por lo tanto, la revisión se dividió en dos términos clave: “Modelado matemático con GeoGebra”, “GeoGebra en la enseñanza de funciones trigonométricas”. Por tanto, es posible percibir que el uso de las TIC en el aula es de indudable relevancia. Por lo tanto, se puede apreciar que la Modelación Matemática sí es una metodología que favorece el aprendizaje. Significa, por tanto, que a partir de ella el alumno pueda percibir cómo se aplican las matemáticas en su vida cotidiana. En consecuencia, el uso del software GeoGebra apoya la enseñanza y el aprendizaje, ya que facilita enormemente las representaciones gráficas y geométricas.O ensino de Matemática muitas vezes é visto como um desafio para o profissional docente, em relação à utilização de uma didática ou metodologias mais adequadas para uma maior aprendizagem. Portanto, a modelagem matemática surgiu da necessidade de se entender um problema e de poder modelá-lo a partir dos seus dados variáveis ou não. Assim, tendo em vista o maior acesso às tecnologias na atualidade, o software GeoGebra pode auxiliar tanto o professor quanto o aluno na resolução de problemas. Logo, esta pesquisa tem como objetivo uma revisão bibliográfica integrativa de caráter exploratória, a qual visa detalhar as influências do uso da Modelagem Matemática com o GeoGebra no ensino de funções trigonométricas na Educação Básica. Por conseguinte, a revisão subdividiu-se diante dos dois termos chave: “Modelagem Matemática com o GeoGebra”, “GeoGebra no ensino de funções trigonométricas”. Logo, é possível perceber que é de indubitável relevância o uso de TICS na sala de aula. Portanto, pode-se aferir que a Modelagem Matemática é sim uma metodologia que favorece a aprendizagem. Significa, portanto, que a partir dela o estudante pode perceber como a matemática se aplica em seu cotidiano.
