Improvement in vehicle flow and pedestrian safety: study with users on the feasibility of traffic near rotatory

Resumo: | Traffic is a set of complex variables such as vehicle flow and driver behavior, which one variable depends on the other and both depend on the scenario involved. The aim of this study is to analyze the implementation of traffic lights near a roundabout located in the city of Campina Grande-PB, in order to improve the flow and safety of drivers and pedestrians who surround it there. A study was conducted through a questionnaire with drivers and pedestrians using the roundabout daily evaluating the use of traffic lights near the roundabout as a solution to improve the flow in the device, as well as the safety of pedestrians who do crossings in their vicinity. The results of the questionnaire intensify the population's need to increase the safety and effectiveness of the roundabout at peak times, place of passage of students, workers, UFCG teachers, UEPB teachers, city dwellers who travel daily to work in Campina Grande, among others. Therefore, it is advisable to implement a partial traffic light that operates normally at certain periods of the day and remains with all focus groups flashing in alert form at other times, regularizing vehicle tickets more securely. The traffic light would be activated early in the morning, at lunch time and in the late afternoon, which are peak times, moving the population to their homes and feeding places. |

El objetivo del estudio es analizar la implantación de los semáforos al lado rotativo localizado en la ciudad a Campina grande, para perfeccionar el flujo y la seguridad de los conductores y de los peatones a que rodean allí. Un estudio a través de un cuestionario con los conductores y los peatones que utilizan el un diario rotativo que evalúa el uso de los semáforos después el rotativo como solución para la mejora al flujo en el dispositivo, tan bien como la seguridad de los peatones se convirtió en quiénes hacen pasos en su proximidad. Los resultados del cuestionario intensifican la necesidad que la población tiene en el aumento de la seguridad y de la eficacia de el rotativo en horario máximos, lugar del boleto de los estudiantes, trabajadores, profesores del UFCG, profesores del UEPB, habitantes de ciudades circundantes que viajan diariamente al trabajo en Campina Grande, entre otros. Por lo tanto, la implantación de un semáforo parcial se aconseja que funciona normalmente en los períodos definitivos del día y permanece con todos los grupos focales que centelleo en la forma de alarma en los excesivamente cada hora, regularizando los boletos de los vehículos de la forma más seguro. El semáforo sería activado pronto temprano por la mañana, en el horario del almuerzo y del final de la tarde, que es cada hora de pico, del movimiento de la población para sus casas y lugares de la alimentación.O tráfego é um conjunto de variáveis complexas como fluxo de veículos e o comportamento dos motoristas, o qual uma variável depende da outra e ambas dependem do cenário envolvido. O objetivo do estudo é analisar a implantação de semáforos próximos à uma rotatória localizada na cidade de Campina Grande-PB, a fim de aperfeiçoar o fluxo e a segurança dos motoristas e pedestres que ali circundam. Fez-se um estudo através de um questionário com motoristas e pedestres que utilizam a rotatória diariamente avaliando o uso de semáforos próximos a rotatória como solução para melhoria do fluxo no dispositivo, assim como a segurança dos pedestres que fazem travessias na sua proximidade. Os resultados do questionário intensificam a necessidade que a população tem em aumentar a segurança e eficácia da rotatória em horários de pico, local de passagem de estudantes, trabalhadores, professores da UFCG, professores da UEPB, moradores de cidades circunvizinhas que viajam diariamente para trabalhar em Campina Grande, entre outros. Portanto, é aconselhada a implantação de um semáforo parcial que opere normalmente em determinados períodos do dia e permaneça com todos os grupos focais piscando em forma de alerta nos demais horários, regularizando as passagens dos veículos de forma mais segura.
