Teacher training for the use of the WebQuest tool in Professional and Technological Education under the analysis of hermeneutics-dialectics

Resumo: | The present investigation started from the question: Can teacher training for the use of the WebQuest tool contribute to the development of research as a pedagogical principle in the scope of Vocational and Technological Education? The studies developed aim to collaborate in the deepening of teachers' knowledge about the epistemological, didactic and operational principles of the WebQuest tool, in order to favor the orientation of school research in virtual sources, during classroom teaching or remote. The research is qualitative in nature and serves exploratory and descriptive purposes. The action research method was adopted, considering its suitability for solving problems that are of interest to the researcher and the research participants. The historical-dialectical materialist conception enabled the perception and critical analysis of the reality experienced during the diagnostic phase (2019) and the period of application of the Didactic Sequence (2021), marked by a pandemic. The results of this investigation were analyzed following the path of hermeneutic-dialectical thinking and demonstrate that the WebQuest tool favors the inseparability of teaching and research; in the Remote Learning context, it is an effective tool in the process of guiding asynchronous activities. The biggest challenge identified for the use of WebQuest is the methodological construction of a proposal in which students and educators act as producers of knowledge, and not just as subjects who follow scripts or indicate sources of information for the research. Overcoming this challenge requires investment in teacher training, as well as guaranteeing time so that teachers can act as researchers and producers of didactic tools. |

Los estudios desarrollados pretenden colaborar en la profundización del conocimiento de los docentes sobre los principios epistemológicos, didácticos y operativos de la herramienta WebQuest, con el fin de favorecer la orientación de la investigación escolar en fuentes virtuales, durante la docencia presencial o la Enseñanza a Distancia. La investigación es de naturaleza cualitativa y tiene propósitos exploratorios y descriptivos. Se adoptó el método de investigación acción, considerando su idoneidad para la solución de problemas que son de interés del investigador y de los participantes de la investigación. La concepción materialista histórico-dialéctica posibilitó la percepción y el análisis crítico de la realidad vivida durante la fase de diagnóstico (2019) y el período de aplicación de la Secuencia Didáctica (2021), marcados por una pandemia. Los resultados de esta investigación fueron analizados siguiendo el camino del pensamiento hermenéutico-dialéctico y demuestran que la herramienta WebQuest favorece la inseparabilidad de la docencia y la investigación; en el contexto de Aprendizaje Remoto, es una herramienta efectiva en el proceso de guiar actividades asincrónicas. El mayor desafío identificado para el uso de WebQuest es la construcción metodológica de una propuesta en la que estudiantes y educadores actúen como productores de conocimiento, y no solo como sujetos que siguen guiones o indican fuentes de información para la investigación. Superar este desafío requiere invertir en la formación de docentes, así como garantizar tiempo para que los docentes puedan actuar como investigadores y productores de herramientas didácticas.A presente investigação partiu da questão “A formação docente para o uso da ferramenta WebQuest pode colaborar para o desenvolvimento da pesquisa como princípio pedagógico no âmbito da Educação Profissional e Tecnológica?” Os estudos desenvolvidos visam colaborar no aprofundamento dos conhecimentos docentes sobre os princípios epistemológicos, didáticos e operacionais da ferramenta WebQuest, de modo a favorecer a orientação de pesquisas escolares em fontes virtuais, durante o ensino presencial ou remoto. A pesquisa é de natureza qualitativa e atende a fins exploratórios e descritivos. Adotou-se o método da pesquisa-ação, por considerar sua adequação à resolução de problemas que partam do interesse do pesquisador e dos participantes da pesquisa. A concepção materialista histórico-dialético possibilitou a percepção e a análise crítica da realidade vivenciada durante a fase diagnóstica (2019) e o período de aplicação da Sequência Didática (2021), marcado por uma pandemia. Os resultados dessa investigação foram analisados seguindo o caminho do pensamento hermenêutico-dialético e demonstram que a ferramenta WebQuest favorece a indissociabilidade entre ensino e pesquisa; no contexto Ensino Remoto, é uma ferramenta eficaz no processo de orientação das atividades assíncronas. O maior desafio identificado para a utilização da WebQuest é a construção metodológica de uma proposta em que educandos e educadores atuem como produtores de conhecimento, e não apenas como sujeitos que seguem roteiros ou indicam fontes de informação para a pesquisa.
