Resumo: | Monitoring contributes to the personal, professional and collective growth of the monitor, as well as through experience it is possible to play relevant roles that help to associate technical-scientific knowledge. In this way, the objective is to report the contributions of monitoring in the academic and professional training of the monitor and in their preparation for future teaching. This is a descriptive study, of the experience report type, carried out from the experience of the student in the monitoring of the Mental Health Care discipline, which, in the undergraduate course in Nursing and Midwifery at UESB, is offered to students of the 6th grade. semester. This experience took place in the municipality of Jequié-Ba, from September to December 2020, corresponding to the 2020.1 semester. It is noteworthy that the monitoring provided an enriching and gratifying experience, as well as taking advantage of the approximation of pedagogical teaching activities, being the monitoring of student and teacher activities that worked as a key element for a future teaching. In addition, this moment could be used for a review and sometimes for a deepening of the topics covered and to clarify doubts that may have remained from the student's time of the discipline. It is concluded that this study understood that monitoring was a time of great performance, as the discipline could add a lot to Nursing training and to the beginning of teaching practice. |

De esta forma, el objetivo es informar de las contribuciones del seguimiento en la formación académica y profesional del monitor y en su preparación para la futura docencia. Se trata de un estudio descriptivo, del tipo relato de experiencia, realizado a partir de la vivencia del estudiante en el acompañamiento de la disciplina Atención a la Salud Mental, que, en el curso de graduación en Enfermería y Obstetricia de la UESB, se ofrece a estudiantes del 6º grado semestre Esta experiencia se llevó a cabo en el municipio de Jequié-Ba, de septiembre a diciembre de 2020, correspondiente al semestre 2020.1. Se destaca que el seguimiento brindó una experiencia enriquecedora y gratificante, además de aprovechar la aproximación de las actividades docentes pedagógicas, siendo el seguimiento de las actividades de los alumnos y docentes el que funcionó como elemento clave para una futura docencia. Además, este momento podría ser aprovechado para una revisión y en ocasiones para una profundización de los temas tratados y para aclarar dudas que hayan podido quedar del tiempo del alumno en la disciplina. Se concluye que este estudio entendió que el acompañamiento fue un momento de gran desempeño, ya que la disciplina podría aportar mucho a la formación de Enfermería y al inicio de la práctica docente.A monitoria contribui para o crescimento pessoal, profissional e coletivo do monitor, bem como através da vivência é possível desempenhar papéis relevantes que ajudam a associar os saberes técnico- científicos. Dessa maneira, objetiva-se relatar as contribuições da monitoria na formação acadêmica e profissional do monitor e na sua preparação para uma futura docência. Trata-se de um estudo descritivo, do tipo relato de experiência, realizado a partir da vivência da discente na monitoria da disciplina de Atenção à Saúde Mental, que, no curso de graduação em Enfermagem e Obstetrícia da UESB, é oferecida aos discentes do 6º semestre. Tal experiência ocorreu no município de Jequié-Ba, no período de julho a novembro de 2020, correspondendo ao semestre 2020.2. Destaca-se que a monitoria proporcionou uma experiência enriquecedora e gratificante, bem como de aproveitamento para as aproximações de atividades de ensino pedagógicos, sendo o acompanhamento das atividades discentes e docente que funcionou como elemento chave para uma futura docência. Além disso, esse momento pôde ser utilizado para uma revisão e às vezes para um aprofundamento dos assuntos abordados e para elucidar dúvidas que podem ter ficado do tempo de discente da disciplina.
