Resumo: This article proposes to analyze how health promotion actions occur and impacts of incarceration on men on prison system environment. It is a descriptive study with a qualitative approach. A data collection was carried out in a prison male located in a Northeast Region Brazilian, through conversation wheels with pre-established, dialogued exhibition, discussion of topics and dynamics of integration. The data they were analyzed descriptively, according to the following thematic categories: actions of promotion in health no prison scope; impacts of incarceration on men. The results indicate, from the perspective of the system prison, what exists the mechanism of social training of those who have some deviant conduct, for the purpose of resocialization. It's prison saint convergent os thoughts two arrested related to the prison health situation and impacts that incarceration impacts on re-educating, making strategies necessary aimed at greater empowerment and autonomy of these people no touching lawsuit health-disease, often neglected.

Se trata de un estudio descriptivo con enfoque cualitativo. La recolección de datos se llevó a cabo en una Cárcel de Hombres ubicada en una región del noreste de Brasil, a través de Círculos de Conversación con temas preestablecidos, exposición dialogada, discusión de temas y dinámicas de integración. Los datos fueron analizados de forma descriptiva, según las siguientes categorías temáticas: acciones de promoción de la salud en el medio penitenciario; Impactos del encarcelamiento en los hombres. Los resultados indican, desde la perspectiva del sistema penitenciario, que existe un mecanismo de formación social de quienes presentan alguna conducta desviada, con el fin de su resocialización. Los pensamientos de los privados de libertad relacionados con la situación de salud penitenciaria y los impactos que el encarcelamiento impone a los internos son convergentes, haciendo necesarias estrategias que apunten a un mayor empoderamiento y autonomía de estas personas en relación al proceso salud-enfermedad, muchas veces descuidado.O presente artigo propõe analisar como ocorrem as ações de promoção em saúde e os impactos do encarceramento aos homens no ambiente do sistema prisional. Trata-se de um estudo descritivo, com abordagem qualitativa. A coleta dos dados foi realizada em um Presídio Masculino localizado em uma região do nordeste brasileiro, por meio de Rodas de Conversas com temáticas pré-estabelecidas, exposição dialogada, discussão dos temas e dinâmicas de integração. Os dados foram analisados de maneira descritiva, de acordo com as seguintes categorias temáticas: ações de promoção em saúde no âmbito prisional; impactos do encarceramento aos homens. Os resultados indicam, sob a perspectiva do sistema prisional, que existe o mecanismo de adestramento social daqueles que possuem alguma conduta desviante, com a finalidade de ressocialização.
