Resumo: The presente paper of conclusion (TCC) delas with Breastfeeding (BF).  The Breast Mil kis Recognized as the most suitable and complete food for childreen uo to the first six months of age. Objective: To identify the Factors associated with the maintenance of breastfeeding and early weaning in children under 2 years old. The study had a quantitative approach, numerically pointing out the frequency and intensity of the behavior of individuals in a certain group. Method: Quantitative study of exploratory and descriptive type. Conclusion: When analysing the data on the factors associated with early weaning it is notable that there is a significant association between the child’s age and breastfeeding, that is, there is a statistically positive relationship between the fact that the child is less than 6 months old and still breastfeed exclusively, meeting what is recommended by health agencies.

La leche materna es reconocida como el alimento más apropiado y entero para la crianza hasta los seis primeros meses de vida. Objetivo: Identificar los factores asociados a la manutención del amamantamiento materno y destete temprano en niños menores de 2 años. El estudio tuvo un manejo cuantitativo, apuntando numéricamente la frecuencia y la intensidad de los comportamientos de los individuos de un determinado grupo. Método: Investigación cuantitativa exploratoria y descriptiva.  Conclusión: El análisis de los datos sobre los factores asociados con destete prematuro es notable la existencia de una asociación significativa entre la edad del niño y el amamantamiento, o sea, hay una relación estadísticamente positiva entre el hecho de la crianza ser menor que 6 meses y aún amamantar exclusivamente en el pecho materno, de acuerdo con el recomendado por los sistemas de salud.O presente trabalho de conclusão de curso (TCC) trata do aleitamento materno (AM). O leite materno é reconhecido como o alimento mais adequado e completo para a criança até os seis primeiros meses de idade. Objetivo: Identificar os fatores associados à manutenção do aleitamento materno e desmame precoce em crianças menores de 2 anos. O estudo teve abordagem quantitativa, apontando numericamente a frequência e a intensidade dos comportamentos dos indivíduos de um determinado grupo. Método: Estudo quantitativo do tipo exploratório e descritivo.
