A study on the satisfaction of business administration students at a public university

Resumo: The main purpose of this article was to identify and analyze the main factors that influence the satisfaction of Management students at a public university, located in the west of Minas Gerais with the institution, the course and the factors related to the development opportunity. A descriptive case study with a quantitative approach was carried out. The universe of the research was the 150 students of the Administration course and the sample was defined by accessibility and composed of the 80 students who were present in the classroom on the day of the research. The questionnaire was used as a data collection instrument. The work showed that the students of the Administration course were mostly female, under 25 years of age, were already inserted in the job market and did not receive any financial aid from the institution. It was also found that the students were satisfied with the institution and the course, with the main factors generating this satisfaction being the institution's infrastructure, the services offered by the library, the relationship with teachers and the adequacy and relevance of the contents of the subjects of the course. As for the factors related to development opportunities, there was no factor that would generate satisfaction for most of the students surveyed.

Se realizó un estudio de caso descriptivo con enfoque cuantitativo. El universo de la investigación fueron los 150 alumnos del curso de Administración y la muestra se definió por accesibilidad y estuvo compuesta por los 80 alumnos que se encontraban presentes en el aula el día de la investigación. El cuestionario se utilizó como instrumento de recolección de datos. El trabajo arrojó que los estudiantes de la carrera de Administración eran en su mayoría mujeres, menores de 25 años, ya estaban insertos en el mercado laboral y no recibieron ninguna ayuda económica de la institución. También se encontró que los estudiantes estaban satisfechos con la institución y el curso, los principales factores generadores de esta satisfacción fueron la infraestructura de la institución, los servicios que brinda la biblioteca, la relación con los docentes y la adecuación y pertinencia de los contenidos de las asignaturas. del curso. En cuanto a los factores relacionados con las oportunidades de desarrollo, no existía ningún factor que generara satisfacción para la mayoría de los estudiantes encuestados.Este artigo teve como principal propósito identificar e analisar os principais fatores que influenciam a satisfação dos acadêmicos de Administração em uma universidade pública, localizada no centro oeste mineiro com a instituição, com o curso e com os fatores relacionados à oportunidade de desenvolvimento.  Foi realizado um estudo de caso com caráter descritivo e abordagem quantitativa. O universo da pesquisa foram os 150 estudantes do curso de Administração e a amostra foi definida por acessibilidade e composta pelos 80 alunos que estavam presentes em sala de aula no dia da pesquisa. Foi utilizado o questionário como instrumento de levantamento de dados. O trabalho evidenciou que os acadêmicos do curso de Administração eram, em sua maioria, do gênero feminino, com menos de 25 anos de idade, já estavam inseridos no mercado de trabalho e não recebiam nenhum auxílio financeiro da instituição. Verificou-se também que os alunos estavam satisfeitos com a instituição e com o curso, sendo que os principais fatores geradores dessa satisfação eram a infraestrutura da instituição, os serviços oferecidos pela biblioteca, o relacionamento com professores e a adequação e relevância dos conteúdos das disciplinas do curso.
