(Des) conceptual meetings in research in the areas of Education and Science Education: a focus on the state of art

Resumo: This research aims to present the results of the bibliographic survey of works focus on the state of the art, in the areas of Education and Education in Sciences, from 1994 to 2018. As a result of this survey, we discussed some concepts related to the state of the art present in these works. To do so, we adopted as assumptions of a qualitative nature, such as bibliographic research. From the data collection sources we identified 44 works (10 theses, 3 dissertations and 31 scientific articles), published from 1994 to 2018, present in four databases: 1) Google Academic; 2) CAPES Dissertations and Theses Database; 3) Brazilian Digital Library of Theses and Dissertations (BDTD); 4) Proceedings of the National Research Meeting in Science Education (ENPEC). The results indicate that both the works in the area of Education and Education in Sciences point out the importance of the use of state of the art methods, in what concerns the mapping and description of the evolution of a certain academic production about a specific theme, with the main purpose of diagnosing possible gaps and perspectives of the investigated context, so that it may be based on and assist in the delineation of future researches that use this method.

Como resultado de esta encuesta, discutimos algunos conceptos relacionados con el estado del arte presente en estos trabajos. Para ello, adoptamos como supuestos de carácter cualitativo, como la investigación bibliográfica. A partir de las fuentes de recopilación de datos, se identificaron 44 artículos (10 tesis, 3 tesis y 31 artículos científicos), publicados entre 1994 y 2018, presentes en cuatro bases de datos: 1) Google Académico; 2) Bases de Disertaciones y Tesis de CAPES; 3) Biblioteca Digital Brasileña de Disertaciones y Tesis (BDTD); 4) Acta del Encuentro Nacional de Investigación en Educación en Ciencias (ENPEC). Los resultados indican que tanto los estudios del área de Educación cuánto de Educación en Ciencias apuntan a la importancia del uso de métodos del estado del arte, con respecto al mapeo y la descripción de la evolución de una determinada producción académica sobre un tema específico, con el objetivo principal de diagnosticar posibles vacíos y perspectivas del contexto investigado, de manera que se base y asista en el delineamiento de futuros estudios que utilicen este método.A presente pesquisa tem como objetivo apresentar os resultados do levantamento bibliográfico de trabalhos com o foco no estado da arte, no âmbito das áreas de Educação e Educação em Ciências, no período de 1994 a 2018. Como resultado desse levantamento, discorremos sobre alguns conceitos relacionados ao estado da arte presentes nesses trabalhos. Para tanto, adotamos como delineamentos metodológicos os pressupostos de natureza qualitativa, do tipo pesquisa bibliográfica. A partir das fontes de coleta de dados identificou-se 44 trabalhos (10 teses, 3 dissertações  e 31 artigos científicos), publicados no período de 1994 a 2018, presentes em quatro bases de dados: 1) Google Acadêmico; 2) Base de Dissertações e Teses da CAPES; 3) Biblioteca Digital Brasileira de Teses e Dissertações (BDTD); 4) Atas do Encontro Nacional de Pesquisa em Educação em Ciências (ENPEC).
