Resumo: The objective was to verify evidence in the literature about the effectiveness of low-level laser therapy in the tissue repair of diabetic foot ulcers. An integrative literature review was carried out through the online research platforms Us national Library of Medicine (PUBMED) and Virtual Health Library (VHL) in the LILACS, MEDLINE AND BDENF databases. For the elaboration of the research question of the integrative review, the PICO strategy was used, fundamental for the improvement of the specificity and conceptual clarity of the clinical situation to be studied, returning results of greater quality and precision. Articles indexed in national and international journals were selected, made available in full, research involving human beings without distinction of gender, and studies comprised in the last 5 years in all languages ​​found. The results obtained demonstrate proven efficacy in the treatment of diabetic ulcerations through the cellular stimulation provided by the laser, which results in greater cell proliferation, neovascularization, and collagen synthesis. Therefore, the Laser is important because it is a low-cost therapy alternative to the conventional treatment of diabetic ulcers, which offers scientific evidence in the process of tissue repair and reduction of the injured área.

Se realizó una revisión integradora de la literatura a través de las plataformas de investigación en línea Biblioteca Nacional de Medicina de Estados Unidos (PUBMED) y Biblioteca Virtual en Salud (BVS) en las bases de datos LILACS, MEDLINE Y BDENF. Para la elaboración de la pregunta de investigación de la revisión integradora se utilizó la estrategia PICO, fundamental para el mejoramiento de la especificidad y claridad conceptual de la situación clínica a estudiar, retornando resultados de mayor calidad y precisión. Se seleccionaron artículos indexados en revistas nacionales e internacionales, se pusieron a disposición íntegramente, investigaciones que involucraron a seres humanos sin distinción de género, y estudios comprendidos en los últimos 5 años en todos los idiomas encontrados. Los resultados obtenidos demuestran una probada eficacia en el tratamiento de las úlceras diabéticas a través de la estimulación celular proporcionada por el láser, que se traduce en una mayor proliferación celular, neovascularización y síntesis de colágeno. Por ello, el Láser es importante porque es una alternativa terapéutica de bajo costo al tratamiento convencional de las úlceras diabéticas, que ofrece evidencia científica en el proceso de reparación tisular y reducción de la zona lesionada.Objetivou-se verificar evidências na literatura acerca da eficácia da terapia a laser de baixa intensidade na reparação tecidual de úlceras diabéticas dos pés. Realizou-se uma revisão integrativa de literatura, por meio das plataformas online de pesquisa Us national Library of Medicine (PUBMED) e Biblioteca Virtual em Saúde (BVS) nas bases de dados LILACS, MEDLINE E BDENF. Para a elaboração da questão de pesquisa da revisão integrativa, utilizou-se a estratégia PICO, fundamental para a melhora da especificidade e clareza conceitual da situação clínica a ser estudada retornando resultados de maior qualidade e precisão. Foram selecionados artigos indexados em periódicos nacionais e internacionais, disponibilizados na íntegra, pesquisas envolvendo seres humanos sem distinção de gênero, e estudos compreendidos nos últimos 5 anos em todos os idiomas encontrados. Os resultados obtidos demonstram eficácia comprovada no tratamento de ulcerações diabéticas através da estimulação celular proporcionada pelo laser, que resulta em uma maior proliferação celular, neovascularização, e síntese de colágeno.
