A Systematic Review on mathematical modeling in high school

Resumo: | This theoretical article aims to analyze the results of national productions on the state of knowledge in academic research on Mathematical Modeling in High School. The methodological procedures were through bibliographic research, through a systematic review of the literature, a method that provides the search for the necessary knowledge about the theme in the area of Teaching and Mathematical Education. The articles were collected from the following databases: SciELO and CAPES Journal Portal, the search was carried out in the months of November and December 2020. Based on the results of the studies of this review, it was possible to realize that the focus of the research is centered on the reflections and reports of experiences of teachers and students about modeling activities in high school classrooms. He also pointed out that the authors of the analyzed studies highlight, as a positive aspect, the contribution of other areas of knowledge in the applicability of mathematical knowledge and in solving problem situations related to students' daily lives. From the analysis, we conclude that Mathematical Modeling is a consolidated practice in Mathematics Education, and contributes significantly to the development of students' learning during the educational process. |

Los procedimientos metodológicos fueron a través de la investigación bibliográfica, a través de una revisión sistemática de la literatura, método que brinda la búsqueda de los conocimientos necesarios sobre el tema en el área de la Enseñanza y la Educación Matemática. Los artículos fueron recolectados de las siguientes bases de datos: SciELO y Portal de Periódicos CAPES, la búsqueda se realizó en noviembre y diciembre de 2020. Con base en los resultados de los estudios de esta revisión, se pudo apreciar que el enfoque de la investigación está centrado sobre las reflexiones y relatos de experiencias de docentes y estudiantes sobre las actividades de modelación en las aulas de la enseñanza media. También señaló que los autores de los estudios analizados destacan como aspecto positivo el aporte de otras áreas del conocimiento en la aplicabilidad de los conocimientos matemáticos y en la resolución de situaciones problema relacionadas con la vida cotidiana de los estudiantes. Del análisis concluimos que la Modelación Matemática es una práctica consolidada en la Educación Matemática, y contribuye significativamente al desarrollo del aprendizaje de los estudiantes durante el proceso educativo.Este artigo, de cunho teórico, tem por objetivo analisar os resultados das produções nacionais sobre o estado do conhecimento em pesquisas acadêmicas produzidas sobre a Modelagem Matemática no Ensino Médio. Os procedimentos metodológicos foram através de pesquisa bibliográfica, por meio de uma revisão sistemática da literatura, método que proporciona a busca do conhecimento necessário a respeito do tema na área de Ensino e Educação Matemática. Os artigos foram colhidos a partir das seguintes bases de dados: SciELO e Portal de Periódicos CAPES, a busca foi realizada nos meses de novembro e dezembro de 2020. Baseando-se nos resultados dos estudos dessa revisão, pôde-se perceber que o foco das pesquisas é centrado nas reflexões e relatos de experiências de professores e estudantes acerca de atividades de modelagem em salas de aula do Ensino Médio. Apontou ainda que os autores dos estudos analisados destacam como aspecto positivo, a contribuição de outras áreas do conhecimento na aplicabilidade dos conhecimentos matemáticos e na resolução de situações-problema relacionado ao cotidiano dos alunos.
