Video classes production and math learning in high school groups at IFSul campus Pelotas

Resumo: Many authors have dedicated their researches to topics related to the use of technologies in education. Traditional classes with only a blackboard and some chalks are not attractive anymore and also do not stimulate the curiosity about the topics approached. Nowadays, students are used to immediate answers, obtained through online researches and they do not have the necessary patience to be concentrated in a traditional class.  This study reports an experience which proposed, based on the concept of investigative activity, for high school students, the planning, the execution and editing of video classes containing topics approached in the classroom.  The main objective of this study was the learning of content, but the motivations were also as it follows: the challenge of creativity to elaborate a script which incentives the viewer to watch the video; the research and use of software for editing the videos; the understanding of content to demonstrate confidence in the explanation of the class. Two of the videos, resulting of the experience and which are reported, surpassed the expectations of the teacher. With the results obtained, it is concluded that the students who devoted themselves to the tasks obtained quite significant learning, which can be observed throughout the classes which were continued after the study was carried out.

Las clases tradicionales, de apenas pizarrón y tiza, ya no atraen la atención y tampoco estimulan la curiosidad sobre los asuntos abordados. Los alumnos de hoy están acostumbrados con respuestas inmediatistas, obtenidas por consultas online y ya no poseen más la paciencia necesaria para mantener la atención en una clase tradicional. El presente artículo relata una experiencia en que se propuso, con base en el concepto de actividad investigativa, para alumnos de enseñanza secundaria, el planeamiento, la ejecución y la edición de video aulas conteniendo asuntos abordados en sala de aula. El objetivo principal de este trabajo fue el aprendizaje del contenido, pero las motivaciones también fueron: el desafío de la creatividad para elaborar un guion que incentivase al espectador a ver su video; la investigación y la utilización de softwares para ediciones de los videos; la comprensión del contenido para que demostrasen seguridad en la explicación del aula. Dos de los videos, resultantes de la experiencia y que están relatados, superaron las expectativas del profesor. Con los resultados obtenidos, se concluyó que los alumnos que se dedicaron al trabajo tuvieron un aprendizaje bien significativo, que pudo ser observada durante las clases que tuvieron continuidad después del trabajo realizado.Muitos autores têm dedicado suas pesquisas a temas relacionados ao uso das tecnologias no ensino. As aulas tradicionais, de apenas quadro e giz, já não prendem a atenção e tão pouco estimulam a curiosidade sobre os assuntos abordados. Os alunos de hoje estão acostumados com respostas imediatistas, obtidas por pesquisas online e já não possuem mais a paciência necessária para manterem a atenção numa aula tradicional. O presente artigo relata uma experiência em que se propôs, embasando-se no conceito de atividade investigativa, para alunos do ensino médio, o planejamento, a execução e a edição de videoaulas contendo assuntos abordados em sala de aula. O objetivo principal desse trabalho foi a aprendizagem do conteúdo, mas as motivações também foram: o desafio da criatividade para elaborar um roteiro que incentivasse o expectador a assistir seu vídeo; a pesquisa e a utilização de softwares para edições dos vídeos; a compreensão do conteúdo para que demonstrassem segurança na explicação da aula. Dois dos vídeos, resultantes da experiência e que estão relatados, superaram as expectativas da professora.
