Resumo: Objective: to carry out an integrative review about the relationship between Burnout syndrome, factors involved in the mental health of nursing professionals and the Covid-19 pandemic. Methodology: this is an integrative literature review carried out through scientific articles from the following databases: Latin American and Caribbean Literature on Health Sciences (LILACS), Scientific Electronic Library Online (SciELO) and Medline via PubMed. The inclusion criteria for this research were: original and/or review studies, with publication date between 2020 to 2022 in Portuguese, filtered with the descriptors: “Burnout Syndrome”, “Professional Exhaustion”; “Nursing Professionals”; “Covid-19” and “Mental Health Assistance”, for selection of articles used in the review. Results: twenty articles were identified, divided into three categories: emphasis on work overload, emphasis on mental health and emphasis on professionals' perception. Conclusion: depression, anxiety, insomnia, work overload, long hours, fear of contamination and sudden loss of patients were the most prevalent factors cited for triggering Burnout syndrome in nursing professionals, in addition to the lack of human and material resources. and professional appreciation.

Metodología: se trata de una revisión integrativa de la literatura realizada a través de artículos científicos de las siguientes bases de datos: Literatura Latinoamericana y del Caribe en Ciencias de la Salud (LILACS), Scientific Electronic Library Online (SciELO) y Medline vía PubMed. Los criterios de inclusión para esta investigación fueron: estudios originales y/o de revisión, con fecha de publicación entre los últimos dos años (2020 a 2021) en portugués, filtrados con los descriptores: “Síndrome de Burnout”, “Agotamiento Profesional”, “Profesionales de Enfermería”, “Covid-19” y “Asistencia de Salud Mental”. para la selección de los artículos utilizados en la revisión. Resultados: se identificaron veinte artículos, divididos en tres categorías: énfasis en la sobrecarga de trabajo, énfasis en la salud mental y énfasis en la percepción de los profesionales. Conclusión: la depresión, la ansiedad, el insomnio, la sobrecarga de trabajo, las largas jornadas, el miedo a la contaminación y la pérdida repentina de pacientes fueron los factores más prevalentes citados para desencadenar el síndrome de Burnout en los profesionales de enfermería, además de la falta de recursos humanos, materiales y de valoración profesional.Objetivo: realizar uma revisão integrativa acerca da relação entre a síndrome de Burnout, fatores intervenientes na saúde mental dos profissionais da enfermagem e a pandemia da Covid-19. Metodologia: trata-se de uma revisão integrativa da literatura realizada por intermédio de artigos científicos das bases de dados: Literatura Latino Americana e do Caribe em ciências da saúde (LILACS), Scientific Eletronic Library Online (SciELO) e Medline via PubMed. Os critérios de inclusão desta pesquisa foram: estudos originais, e/ou de revisão, com data de publicação entre os anos 2020 a 2022, no idioma português, filtrados com os descritores: “Síndrome de Burnout”, “Esgotamento Profissional”, “Profissionais de Enfermagem”, “Covid-19” e “Assistência à Saúde Mental”, para seleção dos artigos utilizados na revisão. Resultados: foram identificados vinte artigos, separados em três categorias: ênfase em sobrecarga de trabalho, ênfase em saúde mental e ênfase em percepção dos profissionais.
