A Study on the relationship between Environmental Education and Rural Education

Resumo: Brazilian history shows that, for many years, rural education was not even mentioned in educational norms, causing the peasantry to not recognize itself as a subject of rights and obligations. Thus, it is essential to awaken the sense of belonging of the rural subject through the integration between the contents of environmental education with the precepts of rural education. Considering that education is one of the mechanisms of social development of human beings, it must be promoted in an effective, contextualized and meaningful way for the transformation of the society in which the subject is inserted. Therefore, this study aimed to seek theoretical foundations that conjecture on the inference of the transdisciplinary work of the contents of environmental education and rural education in changing the peasant's behavior and quality of life. Thus, a bibliographic review was carried out which included studies on environmental education, rural education and their interlocutions. Finally, it was realized that for environmental education to be effective in rural schools, it is necessary to develop the student's criticality, based on the cognitive and political maturation of all those involved in the teaching-learning process.

Por ello, es fundamental despertar el sentido de pertenencia del sujeto del campo mediante la integración entre los contenidos de la educación ambiental con los preceptos de la educación rural. Considerando que la educación es uno de los mecanismos de desarrollo social de los seres humanos, se debe promover de manera efectiva, contextualizada y significativa para la transformación de la sociedad en la que se inserta el sujeto. En vista de lo anterior, este estudio tuvo como objetivo buscar fundamentos teóricos que conjeturan sobre la inferencia del trabajo transdisciplinario de los contenidos de la educación ambiental y la educación rural en el cambio de comportamiento y calidad de vida del campesino. Para ello, se realizó una revisión bibliográfica que incluyó estudios sobre educación ambiental, educación rural y sus interlocuciones. En definitiva, se comprendió que para que la educación ambiental sea efectiva en las escuelas rurales, es necesario desarrollar la criticidad del alumno, a partir de la maduración cognitiva y política de todos los involucrados en el proceso de enseñanza-aprendizaje.A história brasileira mostra que, por muitos anos, a educação do campo não foi sequer mencionada nas normativas educacionais, fazendo com que o campesino não se reconhecesse como sujeito de direitos e obrigações. Assim, torna-se fundamental o despertar do sentido de pertencimento do sujeito do campo por meio da integração entre os conteúdos da educação ambiental com os preceitos da educação do campo. Considerando que a educação é um dos mecanismos de desenvolvimento social dos seres humanos, ela deve ser promovida de forma eficaz, contextualizada e com significado para a transformação da sociedade em que o sujeito está inserido. Diante do exposto, este estudo teve como objetivo buscar fundamentos teóricos que conjeturassem sobre a inferência do trabalho transdisciplinar dos conteúdos de educação ambiental e educação do campo na mudança de comportamento e da qualidade de vida do campesino.
