The avenues of my city: observations on the nomenclatures

Resumo: The spaces designed and built by the people have lives and tell stories. The environment inhabited by people is a representation of their identity and culture represented aesthetically. Names of sites may be associated with diversities of taxonomic classification. Therefore, the article aims to point out some historical, empirical and linguistic elements of the microtoponymy of the city of Anápolis (GO), through the official names of the main avenues of the city. For this, a bibliographical research was carried out on toponymic theories, on the historical view of the city. As a result, it was noticed that, in the selected sample, the studied avenues have two taxonomic categories that are: Corotoponimos and Antropotonimos. Both categories were discussed in light of the recorded history of Anápolis and also with perceived empirical elements on nomenclatures.

El ambiente habitado por las personas es una representación de su identidad y de sus culturas representadas estéticamente. Los nombres de los locales pueden estar asociados a las diversidades de clasificación taxonómica. En este sentido, el artículo tiene el objetivo de apuntar algunos elementos históricos, empíricos y lingüísticos de la microtoponimia de la ciudad de Anápolis (GO), por medio de los nombres oficiales de las principales avenidas de la ciudad. Para ello, se realizó una investigación bibliográfica acerca de las teorías toponímicas, de la visión histórica de dicha ciudad. Como resultado, se percibió que, en la muestra seleccionada, las avenidas estudiadas poseen dos categorías taxonómicas que son: Corotopónimos y Antropotones. Ambas categorías fueron discutidas bajo la luz de la historia registrada de Anápolis y también con elementos empíricos percibidos sobre las nomenclaturas.Os espaços arquitetados e edificados pelos sujeitos possuem vidas e contam histórias. O ambiente habitado pelas pessoas é uma representação da sua identidade e da sua cultura concebidas esteticamente. Os nomes dos locais podem estar associados às diversidades de classificação taxonômicas. Diante disso, o artigo tem o objetivo de apontar alguns elementos históricos, empíricos e linguísticos da microtoponímia da cidade de Anápolis (GO), por meio dos nomes oficiais das principais avenidas da cidade. Para tanto, realizou-se uma pesquisa bibliográfica a respeito das teorias toponímicas, da visão histórica da referida cidade. Como resultado, percebeu-se que, na amostra selecionada, as avenidas estudadas possuem duas categorias taxonômicas que são: Corotopônimos e Antropotônimos.
