Undergraduate internship in Social Work: experience in a hospital in the metropolitan region of Recife

Resumo: | Objective: this study aims to present an experience report lived by a student of the undergraduate course in Social Work during supervised curricular internships. Methodology: this is an experience report, with a descriptive nature. Results: the activities developed occurred because of Supervised Internships I, II and III, in a hospital in the Metropolitan Region of the city of Recife, capital of the state of Pernambuco, in the Emergency Service sectors, in the Intensive Care Unit and in the Transfusion Agency. The internships were carried out under the supervision of professors from the teaching unit and social workers from the internship field between the years 2019 and 2020. Conclusion: in view of the activities developed, it was possible to understand and learn about professional practice, the role of the assistant as a member of the multidisciplinary team and on the importance of this professional's performance during the period of pandemic caused by Covid-19. |

Metodología: se trata de un relato de experiencia, de carácter descriptivo. Resultados: las actividades desarrolladas ocurrieron como resultado de las Pasantías Supervisadas I, II y III, en un hospital de la Región Metropolitana de la ciudad de Recife, capital del estado de Pernambuco, en los sectores de Servicio de Emergencia, en la Unidad de Cuidados Intensivos y en la Agencia Transfusional. Las pasantías se realizaron bajo la supervisión de profesores de la unidad docente y trabajadores sociales del ámbito de las pasantías entre los años 2019 y 2020. Conclusión: a la vista de las actividades desarrolladas, se logró comprender y conocer la práctica profesional, el rol del asistente como miembro del equipo multidisciplinario y sobre la importancia del desempeño de este profesional durante el período de la pandemia por Covid-19.Objetivo: O presente estudo tem como objetivo apresentar um relato de experiência vivenciado por uma aluna do curso de graduação em Serviço Social durante os estágios curriculares supervisionados. Metodologia: Trata-se de um relato de experiência, de cunho descritivo. Resultados: As atividades desenvolvidas ocorreram em decorrência dos Estágios Supervisionados I, II e III, em um hospital na Região Metropolitana da cidade do Recife, capital do estado de Pernambuco, nos setores de Serviço de Pronto Atendimento, na Unidade de Terapia Intensiva e na Agência Transfusional. Os estágios foram realizados com a supervisão de professores da unidade de ensino e de profissionais assistentes sociais do campo de estágio entre os anos de 2019 e 2020.
