Epidemiological profile and related injury in patients diagnosed with tuberculosis in the state of Paraná

Resumo: | Tuberculosis is an infectious and transmissible disease that despite being an old disease, tuberculosis remains a public health problem. As it’s an opportunistic infection, several factors can worsen the therapeutic outcome of the disease in question. This study is a quantitative research among patients diagnosed with tuberculosis and its related conditions in the population of the State of Paraná between the years 2015 and 2023. As a research instrument, the Information and Notifiable Diseases System database was used (SINAN), through the Information Technology Department of the Unified Health System (DATASUS), to measure the epidemiological prolife and diseases, as well as the outcome of patients diagnosed with tuberculosis. At the end of the study, it was found that the age group between 20 and 59 years old are prevalent in relation to cases of tuberculosis, as well as White men, with patients with AIDS and Mental Illnes being more susceptible to illnesses. |

Al tratarse de uma infección oportunista, varios factores pueden empeorar el resultado terapéutico de la enfermedad en cuestión. Este estudio es una investigación cuantitativa entre pacientes diagnosticados con tuberculosis y sus condiciones relacionadas en la población del Estado de Paraná entre los años 2015 y 2023. Como instrumento de investigación se utilizó la base de datos del Sistema de Información y Enfermedades de Declaración Obligatoria (SINAN), a través del Departamento de Tecnologías de la Información del Sistema Único de Salud (DATASUS), para medir la proliferacíon epidemiológica y las enfermedades, así como la evolución de los pacientes diagnosticados com tuberculosis. Al final del estudio, se constató que el grupo de edad entre 20 y 59 años prevalece em relación a los casos de tuberculosis, así como los hombres blancos, siendo los pacientes con SIDA y Enfermedades Mentales más susceptibles a las enfermedades.A tuberculose é uma doença infecciosa e transmissível que apesar de ser uma enfermidade antiga, persiste sendo um problema de saúde pública. Por ser uma infecção oportunista, vários fatores podem agravar o desfecho terapêutico da doença em questão. Foi realizado uma pesquisa quantitativa entre pacientes com diagnóstico de tuberculose e seus agravos relacionados na população do Estado do Paraná entre os anos de 2015 a 2023. Como instrumento de pesquisa, foi utilizado a base de dados do Sistema de Informação e Agravos de Notificação (SINAN), por meio do Departamento de Informática do Sistema Único de Saúde (DATASUS), para mensurar o perfil epidemiológico e os agravos, bem como o desfecho dos pacientes diagnosticados com tuberculose. Ao final do estudo, encontrou-se que a faixa etária entre os 20 e 59 anos com maior prevalência em relação aos casos de tuberculose, assim como indivíduos do sexo masculino e cor branca.
