Using the Science Technology and Society approach: A dynamic and playful approach from a meaningful learning perspective in elementary school

Resumo: This paper aims to analyze the implementation of a Science, Technology and Society (STC) approach in primary school, seeking to highlight and reflect the teaching practice for meaningful learning and its contribution to student education as a citizen. This research was idealized through the construction of a study group with students of the 9th grade of the final years of elementary school at the Paulo Aragão School of Sobral, CE. In this article, we show through a qualitative research, the point of view of the teachers responsible for the construction of the study group, reporting the difficulties and results with the use of the CTS approach and their respective approaches, with social sphere themes merged with the studied contents. in the classroom, bringing contributions to a learning method differently from the traditional, and should be used as a teaching tool that provides students with meaningful learning.

Esta investigación fue idealizada por la construcción de un grupo de estudio con estudiantes de noveno grado de los últimos años de la escuela primaria en la Escuela de Sobral, CE, Paulo Aragão. En este artículo, mostramos a través de una investigación cualitativa, el punto de vista de los maestros responsables de la construcción del grupo de estudio, informando las dificultades y los resultados con el uso del enfoque CTS y sus respectivos enfoques, con temas de la esfera social fusionados con los contenidos estudiados. en el aula, aportando contribuciones a un método de aprendizaje diferente al tradicional, y debe usarse como una herramienta de enseñanza que brinde a los estudiantes un aprendizaje significativo.Este trabalho tem como objetivo analisar a implementação de uma abordagem Ciência Tecnologia e Sociedade (CTS) no ensino fundamental, buscando evidenciar e refletir a prática docente para uma aprendizagem significativa e sua contribuição da formação do aluno quanto cidadão. Esta pesquisa foi idealizada através da construção de um grupo de estudos com alunos do 9º ano dos anos finais do ensino fundamental da Escola Paulo Aragão do município de Sobral, CE. Neste artigo, mostramos através de uma pesquisa qualitativa, o ponto de vista dos professores responsáveis pela construção do grupo de estudos, relatando as dificuldades e resultados com o uso do enfoque CTS e suas respectivas abordagens, com temáticas da esfera social fundidas com os conteúdos estudados na sala de aula, trazendo contribuições para um método de aprendizagem de forma diferente do tradicional, devendo ser usado como ferramenta de ensino que proporcione aos alunos uma aprendizagem significativa.
