Resumo: | Objective: Evaluate the epidemiological profile and outcome indicators of the tuberculosis control program in the municipality of Guanambi, Bahia, between 2010 and 2018. Methods: Analytical epidemiological retrospective cohort study. Data collection was performed in the Notification Disease Information System (SINAN) and in the municipality’s department of the Tuberculosis Control Program. Descriptive analysis was performed with frequencies and percentages for categorical, mean and standard deviation variables for age. Then the result indicators for the municipality were calculated. Results: From 2010 to 2018, 88 cases of tuberculosis were reported, highlighting the prevalence in men with an average age of 49.9 years, low education and brown race, where 89,7% of cases were cured, 2.3% were transferred, 1.1% had a change in diagnosis, 1.1% died, 8.0% were in progress at the time of data collection and 2.3% had no information. The most positive indicators of the Municipality in the period were: closed cases (0.96), cured cases (0.91), bacteriologically confirmed new cases (0.86), contacts examined among the registered cases (0.86) and cases tested for HIV (0.85). The municipality had low rates of abandonment of new cases (0.00), cases closed with death (0.01) and retreatment cases (0.08). Conclusion: It has been evidenced that the numbers of tuberculosis cases have been stabilized in recent years, and that the treatment has been effective. |

Métodos: estudio epidemiológico analítico de cohorte retrospectivo. La recolección de datos se llevó a cabo en el Sistema de Información de Enfermedades de Notificación (SINAN) y en el departamento del Programa de Control de Tuberculosis en el municipio. Se realizaron análisis descriptivos con frecuencias y porcentajes para variables categóricas y medias y desviación estándar para la edad. A continuación, se calcularon los indicadores de resultados del programa. Resultados: entre 2010 y 2018, se notificaron 88 casos de tuberculosis, destacando la prevalencia en hombres con una edad promedio de 49.9 años, baja educación, raza café, con 89.7% de los casos curados, 2.3% fueron transferidos, 1.1% tuvo un cambio de diagnóstico, 1.1% murió, 8.0% estaban en progreso al momento de la recolección de datos y 2.3% no tenían información. Las mejores tasas de la Municipalidad en el período fueron: casos cerrados (0,96), casos curados (0,91), casos nuevos confirmados bacteriológicamente (0,86), contactos de casos examinados entre los registrados (0,86), casos nuevos probado para VIH (0.85), abandono de nuevos casos (0.00), casos cerrados con muerte (0.01) y casos de retratamiento (0.08). Conclusión: se hizo evidente que el número de casos de tuberculosis se ha estabilizado en los últimos años y que el tratamiento ha sido efectivo.Objetivo: Avaliar o perfil epidemiológico e indicadores de resultado do Programa de Controle de Tuberculose no município de Guanambi, Bahia, entre 2010 e 2018. Métodos: Estudo epidemiológico analítico, do tipo coorte retrospectivo. A coleta de dados foi realizada no Sistema de Informações de Agravos de Notificação (SINAN) e no departamento do Programa de Controle de Tuberculose do município. Foram realizadas análises descritivas com frequências relativas e absolutas para as variáveis categórica e média e desvio padrão para a idade. A seguir foram calculados indicadores de resultado do programa. Resultados: No período de 2010 a 2018 foram notificados 88 casos de tuberculose, destacando a prevalência em homens com idade média de 49,9 anos, baixa escolaridade, raça parda, sendo que 89,7% dos casos foram curados, 2,3% foram transferidos, 1,1% teve mudança de diagnóstico, 1,1% veio a óbito, 8,0% estavam em andamento no momento da coleta dos dados e 2,3% não tinha informação. Os melhores índices do Município no período foram: casos encerrados (0,96), casos curados (0,91), casos novos confirmados bacteriologicamente (0,86), contatos de casos examinados entre os registrados (0,86), casos novos testados para o HIV (0,85), abandono de casos novos (0,00), casos encerrados com óbito (0,01) e casos de retratamento (0,08).
