Social structures and institutions: a possible dialogue between neoinstitutionalism and contemporary social theory

Resumo: This paper proposal realizes a (possible) dialogue between the features (or concept) of institutions that exist in framework of public policy neoinstitutionalist analysis and social structure, core concept to contemporary social theory of Bourdieu and Jessé de Souza. By theorical discussion about this features, the article argues the meeting points of both approaches and their contribution to development of public policy field by Bourdieu's theory.

A través de la discusión teórica en torno a esas categorías, el artículo demuestra los puntos de encuentro entre ambos enfoques y su contribución en el análisis social para el desarrollo del campo de políticas públicas, a través del uso de la teoría dispuesta de Bourdieu.A proposta deste artigo é realizar um (possível) diálogo entre as categorias (ou conceitos) de instituições, presente na escola neoinstitucionalista de análise de políticas públicas, e de estrutura, essencial para a teoria social contemporânea de Bourdieu e Jessé de Souza.
