Nursing team's role in the breastfeeding process in the face of early weaning prevention

Resumo: | There has been an increase in exclusive breastfeeding rates in Brazil, however, they are still below that recommended by the World Health Organization. This article aims to investigate the role of nurses in encouraging breastfeeding in the prevention of early weaning. This is a bibliographical research, carried out in Lilacs, Scielo and VHL; We used, as inclusion criteria of the articles, productions performed between 2014 and 2020, without language specification and only articles available in full Were excluded Those that did not talk with the theme of the research. Twenty-three articles and 5 publications from the Ministry of Health were selected. The study brought the benefits of breastfeeding in the mother-baby link, in addition to addressing the importance of good nursing care to avoid the process of early weaning, such as competencies, health education and health promotion were addressed. It is concluded that a nursing care based on health promotion and placing itself as a transmitting agent of knowledge makes this breastfeeding process better accepted by the woman since she is already prepared for the situations that may arise and how to act before them, and as a consequence, it is possible to demystify the various knowledge of common sense. |

Este artículo tiene como objetivo investigar el papel de las enfermeras en el fomento de la lactancia materna en la prevención del destete temprano. Se trata de una investigación bibliográfica, realizada en Lilacs, Scielo y VHL; Utilizamos, como criterios de inclusión de los artículos, producciones realizadas entre 2014 y 2020, sin especificación de idioma y sólo artículos disponibles en su totalidad fueron excluidos Aquellos que no hablaban con el tema de la investigación. Se seleccionaron veintitrés artículos y 5 publicaciones del Ministerio de Salud. El estudio trajo los beneficios de la lactancia materna en el vínculo madre-bebé, además de abordar la importancia de una buena atención de enfermería para evitar el proceso de destete temprano, como las competencias, la educación sanitaria y la promoción de la salud. Se concluye que una atención de enfermería basada en la promoción de la salud y la colocación como agente transmisor de conocimiento hace que este proceso de lactancia materna sea mejor aceptado por la mujer, ya que ya está preparada para las situaciones que puedan surgir y cómo actuar ante ellas, y como consecuencia, es posible desmitificar los diversos conocimientos del sentido común.Houve um crescimento nas taxas de aleitamento materno exclusivo no Brasil, no entanto, elas ainda estão abaixo do recomendado pela Organização Mundial da Saúde. O presente artigo tem como objetivo investigar o papel do Enfermeiro no incentivo ao aleitamento materno frente a prevenção do desmame precoce. Trata-se de uma pesquisa bibliográfica, realizada no Lilacs, Scielo e BVS; Utilizou-se, como critérios de inclusão dos artigos, produções realizadas entre o período de 2014 a 2020, sem especificação de idioma e apenas artigos disponíveis na íntegra foram excluídos os que não conversavam com o tema da pesquisa. Foram selecionados 23 artigos e 5 publicações do Ministério da saúde. O estudo trouxe os benefícios do aleitamento materno no elo mãe-bebê, além de abordar a importância de uma boa assistência de Enfermagem para evitar o processo do desmame precoce, como competências, foram abordados a educação em saúde e a promoção de saúde.
