Integrated Student Health Week: a humanizing experience in the context of remote education

Resumo: The present work addresses a project aimed at students at the Federal Institute of Goiás, based on humanizing education and the development of socioemotional skills in the struggle of the Covid-19 pandemic. Aiming to discuss relevant topics on coping with the pandemic, providing encouragement, welcome and a sense of belonging to students, in order to bring comfort and help mitigate the effect of the undesirable consequences of social isolation, a project was created entitled: “Week Integrated Student Health”. A qualitative research was chosen, of a descriptive-exploratory nature, for the elaboration of the experience report, based on a bibliographic review for the foundation of the theoretical framework. It is concluded that the objectives of the project were achieved, due to the number of participations and interactions in synchronous and asynchronous activities, as well as by the reports presented by the students. It is clear that initiatives such as the Integrated Student Health Week should be encouraged, so that students can take on dialogue channels, interaction and acceptance with the academic community of which they are a part.

Con el fin de discutir temas relevantes sobre el afrontamiento de la pandemia, dar aliento, acogida y sentido de pertenencia a los estudiantes, con el fin de traer consuelo y ayudar a mitigar el efecto de las indeseables consecuencias del aislamiento social, se creó un proyecto titulado: “Semana Integrada de la Salud del Estudiante”. Se optó por una investigación cualitativa, de carácter descriptivo-exploratorio, para la elaboración del relato de experiencia, a partir de una revisión bibliográfica para la base del marco teórico. Se concluye que los objetivos del proyecto se lograron, debido a la cantidad de participaciones e interacciones en actividades sincrónicas y asincrónicas, así como por los informes presentados por los estudiantes. Es claro que se deben impulsar iniciativas como la Semana Integral de la Salud del Estudiante, para que los estudiantes puedan asumir canales de diálogo, interacción y aceptación con la comunidad académica de la que forman parte.O presente trabalho aborda um projeto direcionado a estudantes do Instituto Federal Goiano, baseando-se na educação humanizadora e no desenvolvimento das competências socioemocionais no embate da pandemia da Covid-19. Com o objetivo de discutir temas relevantes sobre o enfrentamento da pandemia, oportunizar alento, acolhimento e senso de pertencimento aos estudantes, de modo a trazer conforto e ajudar a mitigar o efeito das consequências indesejáveis do isolamento social, foi elaborado um projeto intitulado: “Semana Integrada da Saúde Estudantil”. Optou-se pela pesquisa qualitativa, de caráter descritivo-exploratório, para a elaboração do relato de experiência, apoiando-se em revisão bibliográfica para a fundamentação do arcabouço teórico. Conclui-se que os objetivos do projeto foram alcançados, devido à quantidade de participações e interações nas atividades síncronas e assíncronas, bem como pelos relatos apresentados pelos estudantes.
