Ever-current issues in our school: A review on violence and inclusion

Resumo: | The study aims to promote a reflection on the relationship between social inclusion and violence in the school environment from the reality of some Brazilian public schools permeated by an unequal educational system and to present a municipal public school with a model school structure for all. It is a research of a qualitative nature, of the literature review type. The searches were carried out from a bibliographic survey in three digital databases – CAPES; Scielo and Google Scholar, as well as books, within the period from June to August 2022. In a context of social inequality, the result of the economic crises that plague our country and affect with greater impact the most vulnerable groups, schools, especially the public ones, feel the effects of this imbalance. This scenario has been provoking a context of exclusion in the school space that triggers countless forms of violence, hindering the process of social inclusion and a school for all. We use a model public school to show a well-planned school with efficient management is able to promote the inclusion of students and the reduction of the different expressions of violence. In conclusion, we understand that education is an important tool in the fight against social inequalities, especially when it offers more equal and fair conditions for the most diverse students to enjoy a quality education capable of contributing to the reversal of the current situation, minimizing violence and promoting inclusion. |

El objetivo de este estudio es presentar, a través de una revisión de la literatura, un análisis en relación al tema de la disciplina en este segmento como factor de integración. Al estudiar las características del alumno, así como las dificultades que presentan los docentes al trabajar en este segmento, esta revisión tiene como objetivo presentar propuestas significativas para facilitar el proceso de minimización de los conflictos existentes en este segmento, que tiene como una de sus principales características, heterogeneidad. Es visible la necesidad de investigaciones dirigidas a este segmento, encaminadas a contribuir a la resolución de los obstáculos que se presentan, y que destaquen la importancia y responsabilidad de la formación profesional en cuanto al compromiso de atender las especificidades relevantes para el segmento.O estudo tem o objetivo de promover uma reflexão acerca da relação entre a inclusão social e a violência no ambiente escolar a partir da realidade de algumas escolas públicas brasileiras permeadas por um sistema educacional desigual e apresentar uma escola pública municipal com estrutura de escola modelo para todos. É uma pesquisa de natureza qualitativa, do tipo revisão de literatura. As buscas foram realizadas a partir de um levantamento bibliográfico em três bases de dados digitais – CAPES; Scielo e Google Acadêmico, assim como livros, no período de junho a agosto de 2022. Em um contexto de desigualdade social, fruto das crises econômicas que assolam o nosso país e atingem com maior impacto grupos mais vulneráveis, a escola, principalmente a pública, sente os efeitos desse desequilíbrio. Este cenário provoca um contexto de exclusão no espaço escolar que desencadeia inúmeras formas de violência dificultando o processo de inclusão social e de uma escola para todos. Utilizamos uma escola pública modelo para mostrarmos que uma escola bem planejada e de gestão eficiente é capaz de promover a inclusão dos alunos e a diminuição das diferentes expressões da violência.
