Analysis of the evaluation process of students' learning and teachers' practice: Study in the 8th grades of Elementary Education – Boa Vista – Roraima – Brazil

Resumo: The objective of this study was to analyze the evaluation practices implemented by teachers in the development of teaching and learning of the 8th Grades of Elementary School of a state public school in the Municipality of Boa Vista – Roraima – Brazil, from 2008 to 2010. knowing the opinions of teachers and students. Considering the problem: does the assessment practice in the learning assessment process occur appropriately in relation to the comprehensive view of students' potential? It was a qualitative-quantitative research, Hermeneutic method, through Content Analysis, based on reading, analysis and interpretation of data. Target population of 125 students and 50 teachers and a sample of 50 students and 10 teachers, with questionnaires with open and closed questions. As results, we can highlight the importance of the contributions of assessment and its influence on the teaching and learning process, since its role in this process is perceived and understood, with students and teachers as the main actors. The relevance of continued training and improvement of the teaching and learning process is also addressed, identification of the function of assessment in the school context, characterizing the type of assessment practiced in the school and its concept and its influence on the teaching and learning process. Thus, we seek a contribution to a reflection by managers and students on the evaluation process adopted by the school and carried out by teachers, observing questions about the evaluation of learning, clarifying and understanding that the evaluation act is aimed at both the student and the the teacher.

Considerando el problema: ¿la práctica evaluativa en el proceso de evaluación del aprendizaje ocurre de manera adecuada en relación con la visión integral del potencial de los estudiantes? Fue una investigación cuali-cuantitativa, método Hermenéutico, mediante Análisis de Contenido, basada en la lectura, análisis e interpretación de datos. Población objetivo de 125 estudiantes y 50 docentes y una muestra de 50 estudiantes y 10 docentes, con cuestionarios con preguntas abiertas y cerradas. Como resultados, podemos destacar la importancia de los aportes de la evaluación y su influencia en el proceso de enseñanza y aprendizaje, ya que se percibe y comprende su papel en este proceso, siendo los estudiantes y docentes los actores principales. También se aborda la relevancia de la formación continua y la mejora del proceso de enseñanza y aprendizaje, identificación de la función de la evaluación en el contexto escolar, caracterizando el tipo de evaluación que se practica en la escuela y su concepto y su influencia en el proceso de enseñanza y aprendizaje. Assim, busca-se uma contribuição para uma reflexão dos gestores e discentes sobre o processo avaliativo adotado pela escola e realizado pelos professores, observando as questões sobre a avaliação da aprendizagem, esclarecendo e compreendendo que o ato avaliativo está voltado tanto para o aluno quanto para el profesor.O objetivo deste trabalho foi analisar as práticas avaliativas implementadas pelos professores no desenvolvimento de ensino e de aprendizagem das 8ª Séries do Ensino Fundamental de uma escola pública estadual do Município de Boa Vista – Roraima – Brasil, no período de 2008 a 2010, conhecendo as opiniões dos professores e alunos. Considerando a problemática: a prática avaliativa no processo de avaliação da aprendizagem ocorre de maneira adequada em relação à visão integral das potencialidades dos alunos? Foi uma pesquisa quali- quantitativa, método Hermenêutico, por meio da Análise de Conteúdos, se baseando na leitura, análise e interpretação de dados. População alvo de 125 discentes e 50 professores e amostra de 50 alunos e 10 professores, com questionários de questões abertas e fechadas. Como resultados, pode-se destacar a importância das contribuições da avaliação e sua influência no processo de ensino e aprendizagem, uma vez que se percebe e compreende-se o papel da mesma nesse processo, tendo os discentes e docentes como principais atores. Aborda-se também a relevância da formação continuada e melhoria do processo de ensino e aprendizagem, identificação da função da avaliação no contexto escolar, caracterizando o tipo de avaliação praticada na escola e seu conceito e sua influência no processo de ensino e aprendizagem.
