System of School Performance Evaluation of the State of São Paulo (SARESP): a literature review

Resumo: The article provides a literature review on the System of School Performance Evaluation of the State of São Paulo - SARESP in the period from 2011 to 2019. To that end, five databases were consulted, namely: Scielo, Redalyc, Spell, DOAJ and Sumários.org., whose result was 19 articles qualified for analysis. As positive aspects in relation to SARESP, its potential in terms of source of information and also the possibility of educational policies orientation stood out. On the other hand, the reservations to the system fall mainly on the possibility of its results generate narrowing and standardization of the curriculum, reduction of teaching autonomy and harmful environment of school competition.

Para isso, foram consultadas cinco bases de dados, a saber: Scielo, Redalyc, Spell, DOAJ e Sumários.org., sendo 19 o total de artigos qualificados para análise. Destacaram-se como aspectos positivos em relação ao SARESP o seu potencial em termos de fonte de informação e, também, a possibilidade de norteamento de políticas educacionais.
