Resumo: This study aimed to analyze the influence of the Theory of Planned Behavior (personal attitudes, subjective norms, and perceived behavioral control) and environmental awareness on the entrepreneurial intention of junior entrepreneurs. This is a quantitative and descriptive research, with 165 junior entrepreneurs from seventeen Brazilian states. The research instrument adopted was based on the theoretical framework of Gonçalves-Dias et al. (2009), for environmental awareness; and Liñán and Chen (2009) for the Theory of Planned Behavior. Multivariate data analysis techniques were adopted, such as exploratory factor analysis and logistic regression. The results showed that there are influences of personal attitudes and perceived behavioral control in the entrepreneurial intention of junior entrepreneurs. It was not possible to confirm the influence of subjective norms and environmental awareness on the entrepreneurial intention of junior entrepreneurs. From this, there is a need for greater alignment of these sustainable practices, through universities, public policies and junior companies themselves, to encourage these future entrepreneurs to incorporate sustainable practices in their business. Furthermore, junior companies, spaces that encourage the entrepreneurial spirit of undergraduates, should further encourage entrepreneurship with a focus on sustainability, to contribute to sustainable entrepreneurship.
