Resumo: We seek for a general overview about the Critical Sociology, which for a long time represented the strong arm of the Social Psychology. After all, where is the critical sociology today? Where is the Social Psychology and which are its relationships with Sociology? Seeking for these answers, the text is divided into the following steps: A ransom of the critical view within the western science, in a second stage the key concepts that make up this theoretical universe and, in the third part, trying to answer the motivating questions, reflections on Social Psychology nowadays and their relationships with Sociology.
