Resumo: From about 15 years to now, there has been a movement to re-evaluate the intellectual legacy contained in the criticism of the cultural industry proposed by Theodor Adorno. Although not very influential in the broader circles that are interested in the subject, it appears with him and for those who know how to read a new key to understanding the concept and its respective approach. Other efforts that we have tried to include include Deborah Cook, Heinz Steinert, Blanca Muñoz, Peter Hohendahl, Robert Witkin, Miriam Hansen and Dieter Prokop.

Apesar de pouco influente nos círculos mais amplos que se interessam sobre a matéria, surge com ele e para quem sabe ler uma nova chave de entendimento do conceito e sua respectiva abordagem. Dentre outros esforços, nos quais tentamos incluir o nosso, pode-se mencionar os de Deborah Cook, Heinz Steinert, Blanca Muñoz, Peter Hohendahl, Robert Witkin, Miriam Hansen e Dieter Prokop. Aparentemente não se inclui nessa tendência o trabalho “Teoria crítica da indústria cultural”, de Rodrigo Duarte.
