Resumo: Objective: Analyze the postural control of amateur athletes from different sports.Material and Methods: This cross-sectional, descriptive study, evaluated adult male amateur athletes, volleyball, futsal and basketball practitioners. The athletes’ postural control was evaluated by dynamic computerized posturography, through the Sensory Organization Tests (SOT) and unipodal support, being also analyzed the different balance systems (visual, vestibular, and somatosensory). Descriptive analysis and Anova test were performed, considering p <0.05.Results: 36 athletes participated of the study, with a mean age of 22.6 (± 4.88) years, 12 from volleyball, 15 from futsal and 9 from basketball. Most athletes had a deficit in the frequencies of SOT VI, being more expressive in basketball (73.3%). However, there was a difference between the sports only in SOT IV, in which basketball differed from the other sports, with more imbalances (p = 0.025).Conclusion: Athletes have a deficit in postural control in all of three systems, more expressive in basketball athletes, showing the need for preventive work on injuries for this sport.

Universidade LaSalle - Unilasalle CanoasPlucinski Cardoso Ribas, Nathalie Yelenade Rosso Fernandes, RodrigoRigotti, FranciscoHamdan Padilha, VitóriaLara, SimoneGraup, Susane2022-03-08info:eu-repo/semantics/articleinfo:eu-repo/semantics/publishedVersionapplication/pdfhttps://revistas.unilasalle.edu.br/index.php/saude_desenvolvimento/article/view/770710.18316/sdh.v10i1.7707Saúde e Desenvolvimento Humano; v. 10, n. 1 (2022)Saúde e Desenvolvimento Humano; v. 10, n. 1 (2022)2317-8582reponame:Saúde e Desenvolvimento Humanoinstname:Universidade La Salle (UNILASALLE)instacron:UNILASALLEporhttps://revistas.unilasalle.edu.br/index.php/saude_desenvolvimento/article/view/7707/pdfhttps://revistas.unilasalle.edu.br/index.php/saude_desenvolvimento/article/downloadSuppFile/7707/1780https://revistas.unilasalle.edu.br/index.php/saude_desenvolvimento/article/downloadSuppFile/7707/1781https://revistas.unilasalle.edu.br/index.php/saude_desenvolvimento/article/downloadSuppFile/7707/2579https://revistas.unilasalle.edu.br/index.php/saude_desenvolvimento/article/downloadSuppFile/7707/2580Direitos autorais 2022 Saúde e Desenvolvimento Humanoinfo:eu-repo/semantics/openAccess2022-05-30T13:37:32Zoai:ojs.revistas.unilasalle.edu.br:article/7707Revistahttp://www.revistas.unilasalle.edu.br/index.php/saude_desenvolvimentohttps://revistas.unilasalle.edu.br/index.php/saude_desenvolvimento/oaisdh@unilasalle.edu.br2317-85822317-8582opendoar:2022-05-30T13:37:32Saúde e Desenvolvimento Humano - Universidade La Salle (UNILASALLE)false
