Resumo: | The present study aimed to investigate how teachers of Rooms Multifunction Resources of the Municipal School of Canoas/RS, administer the theme of high abilities. This work is inserted in the line of research Teacher Formation Educational Theories and Practices of the Centro Universitário La Salle´s Course Master of Education. Regarding the methodology the research is qualitative and quantitative. To gather data a questionnaire was used organized by closed and open questions as well as through information collected while conducting a workshop on high abilities with teachers working in those spaces learning. The processing of the results was based on the analysis proposed by Bardin (2010) content. For reference and theoretical basis comprised the study the concepts of Renzulli (2004) focusing on the theory of the Three Rings and Gardner (2002-2012) emphasizing the concept of multiple intelligences. Regarding the training of teachers we sought to support the concepts of Nóvoa (2004) and Zabala (1998) and Tardif (2000) among others; both important in complementing the study of High abilities. Likewise we emphasize the relevance of the data found in the bank of CAPES´ dissertations and doctoral theses comprising the period from 2001 to 2011. Scope of this initiative was to thoroughly investigate other publications that address the high abilities. By results obtained we noticed possible the identification and implementation of projects paths to qualify teachers in question with regard to vocational formation with the core theme of the high abilities. |

Está inserido na linha de pesquisa “Formação de Professores, Teorias e Práticas Educativas”, do Curso de Mestrado em Educação, do Centro Universitário La Salle - Unilasalle. Quanto à metodologia, a pesquisa labora com dados quantitativos e qualitativos. Para o levantamento dos dados foi empregado um questionário, organizado por meio de questões fechadas e abertas, bem como através das informações coletadas durante a realização de uma oficina sobre Altas Habilidades/Superdotação (AH/SD), com os professores que atuam naqueles espaços de aprendizagem. O processamento dos resultados foi embasado na análise de conteúdo proposto por Bardin (2010). Como referência e sustentação teórica, fizeram parte do estudo os conceitos de Renzulli (2004), enfocando a teoria dos Três Anéis e de Gardner (2002; 2012), ressaltando o conceito das Inteligências Múltiplas. Em relação à formação dos professores buscou-se apoio nos conceitos de Nóvoa (2004), Zabala (1998), Tardif (2000; 2002) dentre outros; todos importantes na complementação do estudo sobre AH/SD. Do mesmo modo, ressalta-se a relevância dos dados encontrados nas dissertações de mestrado e teses de doutorado do Banco da CAPES, compreendendo o período de 2001 a 2011. Dentre os principais achados nesta investigação, centrada nas SRM da Rede Municipal de Canoas, destaca-se a fragilidade do sistema para identificar e atender os sujeitos com AH/SD.
