Resumo: This article aims to present the Lesson Study teacher training methodology of japanese origin which has adapted in different countries some USA, United Kingdom, Chile, Portugal and Brazil, and to provide reflections for researches who are involved in teacher education. Thus prenominate some characteristics, the collaborative work betweem teachers and researchers based on a theme chosen by the group thinking where relevant of students and/or to teaching teachers.Then the lesson planning, the implementation/observation and reflection. The methodology used for this work was the bibliographical research. We highlight that all the countries studied are based on the satges organized by the japanese, presente some challenges such: as the availability of teachers, obtain financial resources and to carefully organize carefully the training. Practice Research.Este artigo tem como objetivos apresentar a metodologia de formação de professores Lesson Study (Estudo de Aula) — de origem japonesa, que vem sendo adaptada em diferentes países como os Estados Unidos, Reino Unido, Chile, Portugal e Brasil — e proporcionar reflexões para pesquisadores envolvidos com formação de professores. Assim, predominam algumas características, o trabalho colaborativo entre professores e pesquisadores a partir de um tema escolhido pelo grupo pensando no que seja relevante para aprendizagem dos estudantes e/ou para o ensino pelos professores. Em seguida, o planejamento da aula, a implementação/observação e a reflexão. A metodologia utilizada para neste trabalho foi a pesquisa bibliográfica. Destacamos que todos os países estudados se baseiam nas etapas organizadas pelos japoneses e apresentam alguns desafios, como: a disponibilidade de tempo dos professores, a organização cuidadosamente da formação e conseguir recursos financeiros.
