Resumo: Aromas, flavors, images, colors, sounds and movements make up the relationships that the Xucuru-Kariri people establish with enchanted beings in their periodic festivals in the woods of Upper River Pardo (Caldas, Minas Gerais). The idea of describing this synesthetic cosmopolitics is to know the beings and forces of nature to which the indigenous warrior person exists ontologically related. To this end, the article focuses on some of the xucuru-kariri terms and practices in caring for the body and the role of relatives – especially ritual grandparents – in preparing things and food in more than one place in the daily living area of the village.

La idea de describir esta cosmopolítica sinestésica es conocer seres y fuerzas de la naturaleza con los que la persona guerrera indígena existe ontológicamente relacionada. Para ello, el artículo está dedicado a algunos de los términos y prácticas xucuru-kariri en el cuidado del cuerpo y el papel de los familiares –especialmente los abuelos rituales– en la preparación de cosas y alimentos en más de un lugar del ámbito de la vida diária en aldea.Aromas, sabores, imagens, cores, sons e movimentos compõem as relações que os Xucuru-Kariri estabelecem com entes encantados em suas periódicas festas na mata do Alto Rio Pardo (município de Caldas, Minas Gerais). A ideia de descrever essa cosmopolítica sinestésica é conhecer seres e forças da natureza às quais a pessoa guerreira dos indígenas existe ontologicamente relacionada.
